You would rather Eichenberg over Little right now? Eichenberg was horrible and Little looked very good the last 2 games. Eichenberg was even dominated when we played Miami. I'd take Little over Jenkins right now as well
Littles upside is as high as any of the lineman in the draft imo

We'll see. My concern is his injury coming up again. Best ability is availability. We still have the coaching staff and draft to worry about as well as free agency. He could just as easily end up being a back up in 2022. They could just as easily draft Neal [not a fan of] and sign Armstead [fan of].

Just seen Freiermuth is the 2nd TE in NFL history to have 60+ catches in his first 2 seasons. With that said, Baalke had the better draft than all of us. I didn't post mine on here but I thought I did. I know my first 4 picks would of went.
1. Trev
1. Baramore
2. Moore
2. Freiermuth.
3. Loved the Cisco pick. I can't remember the rest who was all on the board.
We should do this again for each pick and look back again in a couple years to see if we can beat Baalke's draft this year.
Etienne, Campbell, and Little wins. Although I wanted my draft, I loved the Etienne and Little pick. I knew Campbell was one of the most talent players I just thought it was a high risk high reward pick and the high risk paid off this time. In 2 years he's already a top corner in this league. I also think this year Little will prove to be one of the better tackles and Etienne is already a top 10 back. Cisco is also working his was up the safety rankings
I say it every year, but just because baalke makes a different decision to what I wanted or anyone else wanted doesn’t make it a bad pick. Every year every pick will be scrutinised and it makes no difference just got to support the decision the player and hope it works out

Yeah, there are usually multiple guys I will be happy and like the picks. Loved the Etienne pick, and it was the right pick. People still hate that pick but we wouldn't made it to the playoffs without him last year and he is going to be a star. We had one of the worst run blocking online last year and he still had over 1000 yards in his first season playing coming off a horrible injury. The one thing I really like about Bartch is his run blocking. If he is our LG that position will be upgraded in run blocking and I also think Little will be a better run blocker than Taylor. Cam can be a nasty run blocker at times as well so hopefully he comes back 100% and Fortner is improved and I think we could see 1400 yards from Etienne

Etn and Tyson Campbell look like pro bowl caliber talent. Am I missing something?

Actually, we wouldn't made the playoffs without Trevor Lawrence so let's get that right. I've loved the Etienne pick as well but let's not get it twisted Trevor is everything to this Franchise.

Oh really? Thanks for letting me know. I thought we would have made the playoffs with Beathard at QB.

Funny how two years will change folks' takes on draft picks!

I thought our original assumptions on rookies were set in stone and we can't change our minds?
I still wouldn't have drafted ETN there. He's a good player but a bad value pick. Tyson is a very good player. I didn't think CB was needed there but he's played like a 1st rounder.

"Assumptions" become something different when you spam a message board with them for 18 months.
"Changing one's mind" means abandoning your prior position for a new one. You still pitifully defend your failed position and seek out opportunities to disparage the subject of your idiotic past ire.
Get real.

If you'll point me to the threads I started to bleat over and over about how terrible these players are I would be grateful. Otherwise your comparison is apples to space shuttles.

My position was that he played poorly in 2021 (which I believe is a fact) and that calling him the next Peyton Manning/Andrew Luck was a reach (to be seen I suppose).
After 1 and a half seasons of bad/average football however he played extremely well down the stretch of this past season and has given me hope that he could be the franchise QB, but still prior to the season I predicted him to have 22 td 15 ints. He ended up having 25 TDs 8 ints + 7 fumbles, so it's not like I was far off. He had an excellent back end of a season, but he's still yet to really break out into an absolute star QB. 25 Tds 8 ints is promising for a young QB, but if that's the standard for him moving forward we wont be winning any trophies unless we have a 2017 esque defense.

I didn't intentionally start threads to bash Trevor Lawrence, all I ever did was defend my position when you or some other donkey decided to tell me how I was wrong. My intial post on draft day was that I was excited/skeptical of the pick. We've been through this time and time again..
The only response I get is NYC posting a pic of me saying "how can you defend that trash" referring to a terrible INT he threw at the time of the post in a game day thread.
It's played out and old at this point.

Yet you still have that dumb [BLEEP] sig in all of your posts.

What's wrong with my signature? I think week 9 of this past season was the game where everything clicked for him. He finally came in clutch, and then went ahead and did it again multiple times throughout the season. I know people will point to the first Charger/Colts game and say that was his "break out" game, but I think it's a lot easier to put up big numbers when your defense is shutting down your opponents and giving you good field position all game and playing with a double digit lead for 3 quarters of the game than it is to go down 17 and mount a comeback and show poise and the ability to be clutch.
