I like the optimism! Ultimately, lack of a pass rush will let us down but I think we're going to be excited about the progress of the offense by the end of the season.

I'm guessing 6 wins.

^^^ This. especially the unknowns
I don't see our defense being any better than last year. I think we are going to be VERY bad on defense. However, if the O-line can remain healthy and if we can run the ball with success our offense could be a lot of fun to watch and TLAW will keep us in games we shouldn't be in. 7 wins would be a successful season IMO.

I can't wait to see the 3-4 open up. No more holding back from here on out. Time to bring the pressure.
Seeing how Jaguars went 1 for 3in the preseason, I thinking 5/6 wins or roughly a third of the now 17 game regular season. If things go somewhat the Jaguars way....this is the tops of this team win-ability.
I'm sticking by my .250 prediction. The Jaguars will win exactly 4.25 games this season.
4-to-5 wins

I think if we followed the rest of the 31 teams in the NFL, we’ll realize how far behind the Jags are.

The best we can hope for this season is being competitive and not losing most of the game through blowouts by halftime

I disagree.  We are going to stop the run this year MUCH better than last year.  That alone will make this defense a LOT better than last year.
I see 5 wins, 7 max.
I think we open up 2-0. But finish with 6-7 wins. Three wild cards we should be in the mix in December but fall short.
I think 5-6 wins would be a sign of progress. Still have a very young roster and i worry about our depth past the starters. We have strong groups like WR but the LB's lack depth.

My main worry is the same from last season. The D not getting stops and teams putting up 30+ on them which makes the O habe to go pass happy.

This feels like a team that could be very good or very bad. Just not sure which it is yet.

My guess is somewhere in the middle, hoping for 6-9 wins and i would be good with that.  Less than six wins would be a dissapointment.
4 -13
Honestly. A real prediction based on just watching the preseason is damn near impossible. I'll say this, if our defense can be a little bit better than last year and TL16 can be comparable to Justin Herberts rookie season I would actually be surprised if we didn't make a wildcard spot considering how disgustingly bad our division is outside of the Titans who are just a Derrick Henry slump away from being average again.
9-8…….division champions.
I'm thinking 6-11.

That's where im at. Think we will have some encouraging weeks and some weeks where we look miles away. My main issue with the Marrone era was we never seemed to improve, never seemed to learn from our mistakes, im hoping this team grows as the season goes on. Still think we are 2 FA and 2 drafts away from having a strong enough roster to be a true playoff contender but i just want to see players learn and improve as this season goes on.

seems there's always at least one game that ends in a tie...we're due
20-0. My meds just kicked in.....
Just back from the Feed store, what did they give me?
@ Texans - L. I don't think we're ready yet, even though the Texans will be awful. They'll have a win against a divisional opponent in the opening week, much like we did last year. I'd love to be wrong.
vs Denver - W. We get a win at home against Teddy Bridgewater and the Broncos.
vs Cardinals - L. The Cardinals are the better team.
@ Bengals - L. They're just further in their rebuilding process than we are.
vs Titans - L. They're a playoff team. We're not.
vs Dolphins - L. They have a shot at the playoffs, we don't.
@ Seahawks - L. Yeah, this is a rough stretch.
vs Bills - L. How'd we get such a tough schedule winning one game last year?
@ Colts - L. Will Wentz be playing? He gets injured a lot.
vs 49ers - L. As long as the injury bug doesn't bite them, they should be doing much better.
vs Falcons - L. It'll be a close one, but still absolutely miserable.
@ Rams - L. Do we ever win on the west coast?
@ Titans - L. Again, they're a playoff contender.
vs Texans - W. First game is a fluke.
@ Jets - W. In the Rookie Bowl, Lawrence gives us something to look forward to in the future.
@ Patriots - W. In Rookie Bowl II, we edge the Patriots in our second away win in a row.
vs Colts - W. We end the season with a 4 game winning streak, giving us all something to look forward to next season.

Final Record: 5-12
End up with pick around #10 of the Draft.
