Here are my all-important Week 1 power rankings:

1. Bucs -- They earned it.
2. Chiefs -- Mahomes league's best player.
3. Rams -- Stafford could make the difference.
4. Bills -- They look good!
5. Packers -- As the cheese turns.
6. Browns -- The time is now.
7. Ravens -- Crossroads season.
8. Seahawks -- Good, but not what they were.
9. Dolphins -- Strong roster.
10. 49ers -- They're back, baby.
11. Chargers -- Leap year.
12. Titans -- I'm not buying.
13. Saints -- Winston could take them higher.
14. Cardinals -- Slowly trending upward.
15. Steelers -- On the outside looking in.
16. Colts -- They don't have "The Man."
17. Patriots -- Rebuilding takes time.
18. Vikings -- Unsettled.
19. Lions -- They could be a sleeper.
20. Raiders -- Gruden needs to get going.
21. Cowboys -- Is Prescott recovered?
22. Panthers -- Darnold is a long shot.
23. Washington -- I don't see upgrades.
24. Bears -- No reason for optimism.
25. Bengals -- Sleeper No. 2.
26. Broncos -- Floundering at quarterback.
27. Eagles -- What am I supposed to like?
28. Giants -- Critical season for Daniel Jones.
29. Falcons -- Why didn't they blow it up?
30. Jets -- Zach Wilson gives them hope.
31. Texans -- Franchise in free fall.
32. Jaguars -- Unrealistic expectations won't be a problem.
4 maybe 5 wins

No real receiving TE threat
Interior o-line average at best, tackles below average. Doubt Trevor plays every game.
No pass rush outside of Allen. The team will blitz which could expose the secondary
Vic is the WORST.

“Wilson gives them hope”

And what does Trevor give the Jags fan base? Heart burn?

He sucks.

He still believes the Jags should have traded the #1 pick for a bunch of others.

He holds Jacksonville in disdain. What’s worse is he has a serious, serious man crush on Aaron Drama Queen Rodgers.
7-10
4 wins.

I feel like Urban's going to get a baptism of fire for the start of the regular season. Frustration I sense. Looking at the jumbotrons in disbelief.

Vic Kethman has always been a complete jerk and constantly wrong.  Why do people give this guy the time of day still?

I have a feeling Vic is no fan of Urbz.

He has to put a blurb for every team, what's he gonna say about the Jets? "Tanks for nothing?"
This is a serious case of seeking out something to be offended over.
Maybe he's taking a jab at all the folks who think TLaw alone will be enough to get us into the postseason in year one.

Whatever the case, I read it and moved right along. Gonna take a whole lot more than that to get me to soil my britches.

He does? Over the course of this summer, I haven't seen that to be the case AT. ALL.

He's taken a lot of umbrage with him creating the drama, trying to force guys onto the roster, and the way he handles the media. He's been critical of the way the team has handled his contract, especially the last extension they gave him.

I guess I haven't been looking for reasons to portray him as the curmudgeonly old fogie pointing his finger and laughing at his former home/career.

This.
I feel like were going to come out the gate hot and falter some. I think 3-1 losing to Arizona and finish 7-8 wins.

Beat a crap Houston team
Beat Denver at home in the heat
Lost to Ari
Beat crap Cincy team

Schedule turns up after that. But fully expect to be in the chase for the third wild card spot in December.
10-7 is my guess. This is ofcourse, expecting our "generational talent" is exactly that. If he is, we shouldn't be a losing team unless our defense is as bad as last year which I think it wont be.
6 wins is what I expect - 7 wins is what I think is the ceiling this season

Lots of work left to do IMO - but it has begun at least

Laughing Laughing Laughing
Can I update mine? I thought the floor was 2 and the ceiling was 5... Its all 0.
After today's game I know it's gonna be anything between 0 and 16. Let's make it 2 so we're twice as good as last year.
Not many winnable games with this lack of talent. 1-15 teams are never one player away. Probably a 2 win team unless they find hidden gems some way. That oline is crap and the penalties are awful. The secondary is trash and we don't have linebackers to run a 3-4 but other than that we are set.

Sadly Chark is going to ARob out somewhere else.
I'm not gonna overreact here, I still think this team can win some games this year. Part of the problem today was disorganization and that should be something that can improve. The play calling was a problem on offense and I think that can also be improved. What doesn't get better is the pass blocking, but you can help that by calling more runs. TLaw and the pass catchers just looked nervous and I definitely think that gets better. I think the Tight Ends did better than we thought they would and the secondary was worse than we thought it would be absent the strange Dewey Drama. Cullen's side of the ball still lacks talent, but most of those guys are dealing with unfamiliarity and will hopefully be better as the season goes on.

In short, a few tweaks to the plan and fewer nerves next week makes this better. How much better remains to be seen.
