I don't think he had the slightest clue how to handle it.

Which confirms what we saw on TV. They must have shown Urbs at least 12 times throughout the game. Every single time he was just pacing back and forth while staring at the ground, or just standing there staring off into space.

He looked timid and absolutely lost.

Jimmy Johnson’s first ever game, they were shutout with Troy Aikman, committed two turnovers,  and had 10 penalties for 92 yards. Sound unprepared? You bet.  Let’s not indict on one game
Unlike Meyer, Johnson had the 'it factor " that one could see before and during that 1-15 first season in Dallas!!! You knew he just needed his guys and staff to get together and that famous HW trade just help solidify the greatness....

John North, Head Coach, New Orleans Saints, debuted in 1973.

North's first game as head coach, the season opener against the Atlanta Falcons, resulted in a 62-7 defeat.

The next week the Saints lost to the Dallas Cowboys by a score of 40-3.

2 games, 2 losses by a combined 102-10.

So, no, Meyer is far from the worst head coach ever to debut in the NFL and you are not even the best of the worst trolls we've had on this message board.
Please God, send Meyer to USC.

He said he would have a hands off approach in coaching. He may have to change that to get the results he want.

Which is why I think we see a change this week. If nothing changes, it's going to be a long year. He even had an extremely disgusted look at one point and didn't even yell at anyone.

The difference in coaching approaches on the sideline was noticeable. Culley was his team's biggest cheerleader, was right there to greet and celebrate with his guys after a defensive stop or score, and had all kinds of enthusiasm.

Urbz just scowled like he always does. Has he even smiled since signing an 8-figure contract?

I bet Culley also gave them ice cream and sprinkles after the game.

If how a coach acts on the sideline is indicative of how good a coach they are, then I much rather see Meyer look like Belichick than Bradley.

This.  ^

Week one gave us plenty of actual football decisions to pick apart. I'm OK with that.

The whole rash of body language experts analyzing Meyer's sideline and press conference demeanor I could do without. There's nothing to glean from that stuff.
