We really don't care what you care about, yet here we are.

Yet you felt the need to reply.

Thanks for playing. *Smoochies*

Your team has as many wins as ours lol

He had one INT off a dropped pass and one he should've thrown away or ate due to pressure.

He's the golden child.
Knows the playbook? Every player should know the playbook by now. [BLEEP] are you talking about?
I guess you guys were watching a different game than I. I saw Trevor Lawrence's best game. The first INT was a solid throw, but dropped turned into an INT. There was one bad throw that thankfully didn't get picked, then of course the bad flea fleaker play where he needed to eat or just hurl the ball out of bounds. Otherwise he played a solid game? Seems the kid is learning...
I can't believe some fans are complaining about TL already. It's been 3 damn games folks, this is NOT unusual for a rookie QB to struggle in their first season, especially on a bad team like the Jaguars. IF TL is still making the same mistakes in year 3, then I'd be concerned.

I enjoy letting fools know that they are indeed fools.
Its the nature of our fanbase to believe the media hype and play "The Emperor's New Clothes" with anyone who doesn't parrot the team's propaganda. Just is.

Lawrence may pan out, may not. So far he's played three games and all three were worse than any of the 23 that the last guy played, including the six or so he played with a fractured thumb on his throwing hand.

Oh, and he's on pace to equal the last guy's career total for ints midway through his fifth game.

If that isn't concerning, then absolutely nothing Trevor Lawrence does on the field will affect your starry eyed fanboy optomism.
I have yet to watch the game highlights

But can someone summerise it to me in 5 words or less  Laughing

1.  To be fair, it wasn't just the Jaguars hyping him up.  Scouts, talking heads, etc. not affiliated with the Jaguars at all had him as the best QB prospect to be drafted since Luck.''

2.  The Jaguars spoke glowingly of Chaisson last year and I hated the pick.  The Jaguars spoke glowingly of Etienne this year, and many Jaguars fans hated the pick.

3.  Who would you have taken first overall, if not Lawrence?
I still have hope but.. tried to say he wasn't as great as hyped to be.. hope he changes it tho.

Trey Lance was the only other QB I was interested in but not at #1. If I recall I wanted us to trade the pick for Watson, who supposidly is clear to play right now.

Lololol

Trade multiple 1st for a guy that has 22 law suits against him. Lmao. Thank God you're not the GM. Lawrence will have the better career and we only had to use 1 1st

Right on man. Glad to see I'm not the only one to not drink the teal koolaid.

Another bad Jaguar game performane.
I will say again

He’s a 21 year old kid , in a historically inept franchise, playing with average talent with sub par coaching.

It’s Week 3

He’s gonna be fineeee
He looks like a rookie. He's missing reads like a rookie. Taking bad chances like a rookie. Failing to execute like a rookie.
.I don't know what kind of qb he'll turn into, but 3 games isn't enough to make that determination.

What else is new ? rinse and repeat mate, same old same old

I have a weird habit of following teams that do the exact samr [BLEEP] year in year out

Must be a disease or somethin  ?
I'm not worried about Trevor. Sure, he has thrown more INT's than I would have liked to see, but he has also done a lot of things very well for a player who has only three NFL starts under his belt so far. People can say "he is on pace for" a certain number of INT's, but I think it's safe to say that he won't be throwing as many in the second half of the season as the first half.

One question I would ask people is: "at this point, would you trade Trevor for any of the other rookie QB's right now?" I sure wouldn't. In fact, there aren't many QB's in the league I would trade him for, when you consider his age, current level of experience, potential upside, etc.

I think he is doing fine for the most part. What we need to do is have a little patience and make sure we put a decent supporting cast around him. That's just going to take some time. He'll get there.
I didn't get to watch today's game. I only saw the highlights & you know they don't present TL, or the Jags in any positive light whatsoever.

So I wanted to get your opinion. Three games in, what score would you give TL's football IQ? How is he reading defenses? How well would you say he understands your offense? Does he have any authority to audible, change the play, or make adjustments?
Really enjoyed the bullet thrown by him for the first jag td

Also the length of field touchdown was really nice to see

We r improving slowly, and so is lawrence imho

Yes he'll be attributed with 3 turnovers but do you really blame him for the 1st int or the fumble?

Flea flicker was bad all the way around, he'll learn from that.

I agree.   I thought he showed a lot of good things out there against the Cardinals.  For example, in the 2 minute drill at the end of the first half, he hit every pass and got us a TD.

Yes, he's wildly inconsistent, but that can be fixed.  What I see is that the talent is there.
