How is that possible? The coaches' job is to make the players better, and if the players are getting better, the coaches are doing their job.

The play hasn't really gotten much better. Only more consistent. Less self inflicted wounds.
And that's strictly on offense.
Defensively - it's still a roller coaster dipping down into troughs of incompetent and peaking at moments of stopping the phins on 4th and 1.
Coaching has gone from "in way over their heads and beaten handily on the chessboard" to "maybe if we make the most obvious adjustments in the world we can beat a team that isn't very good to begin with AND they're missing 5 starters to injury"

True, but Eichenberg got his first start at LT against Tampa Bay last week and played equally as well, so it wasn't just against us. As far as him not winning every play, of course not. The kid is a rookie. He didn't allow any sacks though and he held Allen from making any big plays. For a rookie in his 2nd start at LT, that's impressive. Especially given how many injuries we've had a long our own O-Line, so far this season.

Lol, Josh Allen was the highest rated pass rusher yesterday of all the games. I was a little confused when you made this statement being Allen had by far the his best game of the season. Eichenberg was horrible

Has it occurred to you that some players might be improving despite the coaching?

I suppose that is possible, but if the players are getting better, it defies logic to say the coaches are getting worse at the same time. It's the coaches' job to make the players better. If they're getting better, the coaches are doing their job.

We ran into an incompetent opposing coaching staff. Tua made critical mistakes as well. I will take the win any day that wasn't securing Trevor Lawrence.
Honestly still don't like the hire but give me some player improvement and victory.

The coaches will never get their credit if and when. If the players do well, it's inspite of the coaches. Hmm I understand.

He came in as the 3rd tackle when Robinson scored his TD.
I took a look at the box score at nfl.com to see how many plays Little had in the offense (it was just that one plus four on special teams, but at least he's on the field now) and saw that Bartch is listed as a tackle. Norwell and Shatley are listed as guards. Taylor, Robinson, Richardson, Little and Bartch all listed as tackles. Foreshadowing? A mistaken reveal from whoever in the back office maintains the list information sent to the NFL?

Well, what good is the internet without a little tin foil hatting? I had to go looking. In the week 1 gamebook against Houston Bartch is also listed as a tackle. BUT in week 14 last year against the Titans (which seems to be the last week he played - covid, I think) he was listed as a left guard.
So I'm going for it. Full on tin foil. Bartch is targeted for a tackle spot next year and whoever mails in the position sheet to NFL HQ made a boo boo.

Bartch i believe was a tackle in college. But cause of his size is better suited as a G. But I'm not the coach just what i recall reading.

He played at a Division 3 school and was originally a TE. They didn't move him to the OL until his Junior season. He only had 2 years at LT in Div 3 before going into the NFL. He's 6'6 310. He has the size to play OT in the NFL, but he was definitely a project when he was drafted and needed some time regardless of where he played at on the OL.

I remember something about him having T-Rex arms. I think he's bettwr suited for guard.

He has 32.8" arm length. You need to be an elite athlete to play OT with short arms in the NFL. It can be done, but I think the league average arm length for OTs is around 34". I'd agree he's likely best suited for OG.

Yeah, not a guy you want to be an immediate contributor for our franchise QB. He wouldn't of cracked a starting spot on this oline
