There’s is literally nothing fournette is better than Robinson at than maybe top gear. And even that we only saw once a year.

They both are good, so dont get me wrong. Ofcourse I'm all about Robinson and cant wait to see what he does next. Also in aware of how many people on this board hate fournette and think hes not a good running back

What I am hearing: "I watched Fournette in college and was familiar with him. I didn't know what a JRob was when we signed him."

familiarity is understandable. Jrob is a workhorse, though, and he's accomplished as much as Fournette did or would have at a much lower price tag. LF may have got a bum deal in the way his time ended here, but not like we sent an all pro packing to replace him with a scrub. At this stage, I can't see how anyone can claim the jury is still out on whether or not JRob is legit.

Correct. ^

LF is above average. J-Rob is better than that.

We upgraded talent and saved money.

And all praise to Dave Caldwell who clearly saw it and signed him to a 3 year deal as an UDRFA. Too bad he wasn't as prescient with his other pulls.
Fournette is absolutely not above average. He is however taking advantage of a situation where he is literally the 11th (hell maybe lower than that) most feared player on his offense. He is running behind a great oline where defenses are already keying on the best QB of all time throwing to probably the best receiving corps of all time.

He's "performing above avg" in his current situation.

I was just getting a point across.

Where exactly LF actually lies on the spectrum of RB play is not as relevant to my point as the fact he is below Robinson's place on that spectrum.
Opinions will naturally differ on the actual description of his ability.

Pretty sure it's been on record that the RB coach at the time was the one really trying to go for Jrob in udfa.
Otherwise Caldwell probably drafts him in some round or another.

I thought it was the coaches wife, as she was an alumn I believe.
