Interesting tidbit on overthgcap.com. Shows Jawaan Taylor valued at $10M with a cost of $2M. One of the best values on the team. Compare that with Myles Jack, with a cost of $14M but valuation of only $3M.
What is wrong with this board and it's fans? Every once of good news, a handful of angry fans shoot everything down. We suck and we are 1-5 but appreciate some good things. This line has played better than almost anybody expected.

The line is no different than last year, decent at run and terrible at pass pro. The difference is the QB.

Because the line has always sucked at pass blocking and been good at run blocking. Because it still isn't good at pass blocking, just Trevor makes them look better.
Trevor and J-Rob are the only two things on this team worth being excited about.

yeah because TL has no time to throw and is running for his life like last year... yeah TL can get the ball out quick but he has had more time in the pocket to throw as the season is progressing... if you can't see that the oline has improved for pass blocking you're blind...

O-line is average and looks decent thanks to Trevor. We should upgrade pretty much everywhere on that line since most of them are in their last year anyway.

so I guess if it's all TL and the oline hasn't improved at all...then it doesn't really matter who we have on our offensive line... no need to upgrade TL will do it no matter what

I didn't say they were terrible, just that the improvements we've seen are about the skill of the QB and not a veteran group of linemen suddenly improving when they still look the same on tape.
It's a bit of both.
The OL is better than most give them credit for around here, but Lawrence also makes them look better than they are.
An average qb can bring the offense line down just like a good qb can raise the line up. This is common football sense. Here's to hoping our o-line keeps improving
