I just got Days Gone. I is like part Last of Us, part Horizon Zero Dawn. I am digging it so far.

I've heard it's pretty vanilla, game play wise.

I am ok with vanilla. I like games that are not over complicated to play. I don't mind hard but my games have to be user friendly.

I swear I WILL beat Red Dead 2 today. I'm at 87% story completion. The epilogue itself is 7 damn hours long.

Mission accomplished. And now I both do and do not want to play the original Red Dead Redemption

I know this is off topic. But I’m going to ask anyway. Anyone with X1 have issues trying to sync the controller? All of a sudden after using the usb to charge, my controller won’t sync. Done hard reset, tried connecting usb, tried other controllers, tried re-syncing (it’s like the sync button on console doesn’t work). I’ve unplugged the modem and router to eliminate interference and sill nothing. Only thing I have done is try to up-date controller. But I obviously can’t do that since I can’t get any controller to connect. And if I’m not mistaken, it sounded like the headset disconnected as well right after I started having the issue. Internet provided no working solutions. Has anyone come across this or know what may be the issue?

I do have another X1 I may set that up later if I feel like messing with it to see if it works on that console. But, I’d rather use the x1x not the x1s.

I have a X1X and haven't had any synching issues. Sounds like an issue with that specific console

I am playing Rage 2 right now. It is like Borderlands Lite. Pretty fun too.

Giving Dragon Age: Inquisition another whirl. It's not too bad.

I kept starting over with different character builds. It's pretty fun so far. Torn between continuing on with my Archer build or Mage build at the moment.

Started playing Grand Kingdom last night and a bit more this morning before I got ready for work. I actually like it. It's an older game but free to download and play with a Playstation Plus or Playstation Now membership. Been trying to make a monthly effort to check all of the free stuff you can get with those memberships. Been a fool for not doing so more often.

Same. Skyrim also got me back on track to that path. Once you get that Nightingale Armor set and that bow it's hard to not want to sneak around and snipe enemies from a distance. Now I am damn near tempted to drag my gaming PC back out into the living room just to do that all over again for the 99th time.

That's one of my favorite builds of all time. Doesn't matter what race for the long run but earlier on it's good to have that extra magicka or boost to illusion if you go the Nightblade route. Was always fun dropping a massive Fear or Fury bomb on a mob of enemies and then picking and choosing who to snipe first.

I'm playing Batman Arkham Knight, again.. it's included on Xbox GamePass, forgot how much I loved it!

I have seen a few reviews. Looks like they just keep on throwing lipstick on the same pig. It's frustrating as a long time fan of the series. I honestly started a new franchise with the Cardinals on Madden 2018 last night for fun. I refuse to purchase another Madden until they actually add full on customization, better presentation, more features to the franchise mode, etc. 

EA is [BLEEP] lazy as hell. When they bought out the NFLPA licences for the naming rights I lost hope in them. They bought out the competition. I still feel the best Madden they ever made was 2008. And that was three years after they really had their [BLEEP] handed to them by SEGA with NFL2K5. It's a shame man. But people will continue to fork over the $50 - $60 for it every year. 

Which to me it feels like highway robbery because you're really just getting an updated roster with a new rookie class and an old feature being repackaged as "new" when it's just something they did 5 - 10 years ago already. The card game stuff too is a joke. Just not a fan of it anymore. Really disappointed in EA in general. They need new blood in their HQ. Just like Blizzard and Bethesda. Success and being on the mountain for so long has caused them all to become stagnant development wise.

If EA had any sense left in their company they would bring back the NFL Street series along with the NBA Street series. They should have kept that coming. Another series I miss is the Blitz series. Not that EA had anything to do with it. At least not to my knowledge. I think that was a Midway company based game. But at any rate. Pass on Madden 2020.
