Elder scrolls.. Game is funner than I imagined.

Skyrim or Online?
Quote:I need some game suggestions.
I'm gonna plug the hell out of Persona until people understand how good this game is...if you're an anime and/or RPG fan. Edit: The soundtrack is amazing btw. I can't get enough of Rivers in the Desert...lol.

Along the same lines, Banner Sagas 1 and 2 are pretty boss also if you dig TRPGs. The story is solid and it even harkens back to Oregon Trail/Settlers of Cataan with some of the gameplay.

I'll always be an old school gamer at heart. These games definitely make me remember my youth fondly.

We're currently playing Prey, having finished Persona 5 and waiting on Injustice 2. I'm not a fan. It's 1st person. I hate 1st person games but the RPG elements help keep me interested in spite of the perspective.
Fixing to start playing Rocksmith remastered edition on the PS4 soon enough. Just waiting to get my guitar.

Quote:Picked this up two days ago. I'm not all that familiar with the series but this game is insanely fun so far.

The girl who sold me the last limited edition copy geeked out hardcore when I asked for it. I now know why...lol.

Highly recommend playing through Persona 4 (Golden if you can).  Vanilla Persona 4 is great too though.  (Golden just adds a lot)
I've been playing World of Warcraft for about 10 years.  I've tried other games.  But Warcraft's the only one I play consistently.  Just don't have the time or inclination for much else.

I can only speak intelligently on PS4.

You can't go wrong with The Last of Us or the Uncharted Series.  I've been playing video games since Pong.

Those are as good as it gets.

I would also give Witcher 3 an enthusiastic endorsement.
Started up Nioh, pretty fun game that does a great job, in my opinion at least, of ramping up your characters abilities rather quickly but keeping the gameplay / fights challenging. The depth and complexity at first is a little intimidating but once you wrap your head around it, it's a fun time.

H1Z1 King of the Kill
I learned how to air dribble in rocket league, so once again its pretty much all I play. Occasionally i do a season of madden and have one now where I created our draft class.
PlayerUnknown's BattleGrounds. It's a hoot and a half but it's also definitely not good for my heart rate. I've been playing duos with another Jags fan but if anyone wants to join or for trios or squads send me a PM.

BoringGrounds is sooo slow and clunky. It's literally a laggy campfest.

There's streamers who have the newest GTX 1080 graphics card and the newest i7 processors and they still have to run the game on all low settings.

The game is very poorly optimized.

It can be fun at times though, especially if you're playing with buddies. It's just too slow and campy for me personally. I prefer H1Z1's fast paced and fluid type of play.

Both games do have their awful issues though. Bad desync and hit reg being some of the main issues.

I have the exact opposite; I watched a few streams of H1Z1 and it looked terrible to me. Way too arcadey. As for the optimization; I run an i7 @3.4 GHz with a GTX970 and the game runs fine with pretty high settings and I think they spent the last few weeks optimizing the game so a lot of those issues have gone away.

And to add real quick; it's still in Early Access so it's not going to run perfect every time.
I'm playing neverwinter

How is that for the free to play element? Because in my experience "free to play" usually means "pay to win".

Understandable.

I love how you have to take account of bullet travel and bullet drop in H1. It makes for some very interesting fights at times and some incredible shots. It definitely adds a pretty steep learning curve to the game.
