If the Lions are really targeting Hutch and are willing to trade up, then their view of the difference between #1 and #2 is much greater than your view of the difference. As such, the fact that they even inquired about it shows they either have a high view of Hutch or a QB (in which they are preventing other teams from moving into #1).
I would trade 1.01 for 1.02 and Chark. That would be hilarious.
If Baalke truly wants Walker (a lot of buzz the last few days), he should trade with the Lions for just about anything.

I'm all for trading down. I'm not sold on Hutch and even if I think he will be a good player I have a few players I would be equally happy to get a few picks later. Wouldn't even expect a haul, I would look to move down anyway cause I'd be happy with quite a few players in the top 10 and getting an extra day 2 pick for trading down would be enough for me to consider it. (I'd obviously start by asking more of course and depending on where we'd be picking with the trade)

Teams get desperate as draft day nears. The closer we get, I start leaking that numerous teams have been reaching out for possible trades and some of those offers are interesting..
