If I was the Jags, I would take the #2 and #66 picks for the #1 pick.  Because I don't think there's much difference this year between the #1 and #2 picks.  And for that very same reason, I don't think Detroit would offer much more than that.

If the Lions are really targeting Hutch and are willing to trade up, then their view of the difference between #1 and #2 is much greater than your view of the difference.   As such, the fact that they even inquired about it shows they either have a high view of Hutch or a QB (in which they are preventing other teams from moving into #1).

Fix the O-Line!

I'm all for trading down. I'm not sold on Hutch and even if I think he will be a good player I have a few players I would be equally happy to get a few picks later. Wouldn't even expect a haul, I would look to move down anyway cause I'd be happy with quite a few players in the top 10 and getting an extra day 2 pick for trading down would be enough for me to consider it. (I'd obviously start by asking more of course and depending on where we'd be picking with the trade)
