Well it's pretty hard to imagine we actually look good against a team that is expected to win their division. Gus is in my dog house where he'll stay until the team shows any sort of consistency. And I don't mean consistently terrible.

Yeah, I hope the team looks different today.
.@Jaguars RB Chris Ivory was admitted to the hospital this morning with a general medical issue and is inactive for today's game vs. Packers
Unbelievable

Yeah, that preseason performance against the Bengals pretty much wiped out any hope I had that this season would be different. Unless the packers just fell off a cliff this season the jaguars winning against them would be the first time a Gus led team ever beat a playoff level team.

Yeldon is more than capable of being a work horse all day.

I agree but I wonder what's wrong with Ivory.
#Jaguars inactives: Ivory, Allen, Johnson, Reed, Walters, Alualu and C. Smith. ... House starts at LCB.
Damn, Ivory is out. All on Yeldon and Denard. We will see if our run blocking is any better.

After getting to know Gus he wants no part of what he sees going down this afternoon.

Here we go again. Why is it so hard for people to figure out good coaches don't win with bad players and our problem the last three years was personnel?
Less than 2 hours left. Kickoff can't come soon enough for me.
General medical? What? I guess.. What could be so serious to keep you inactive, but be so minor it's considered "general"? We have the oddest luck.

Never judge a team on preseason performance. It means nothing.

You have met Gus personally?

Wow, what a way to start the season.
#Jaguars RB Chris Ivory will be reevaluated for his issue late this week, I'm told. His availability for Week 2 will hinge on what he learns
Wow
Chris Ivory not playing is a huge blow to our offense. 2 years in a row we get a top offensive FA and don't have them on opening day. Let's hope DRob don't fall asleep at the wheel and fumble at a critical moment in the game.
