It's week 1. Teams are usually not near their peak performances yet. Even the expected upper-tier teams look much different in late November than what they did in week 1.
The Jags played Carolina very tough last year in the opener. Carolina did not look like a dominant, upper-tier team in their first few weeks last season. They were much better in the last part of the year.
The Jags have a good shot today, as long as they're prepared and ready. We'll see.
Could someone please tell me what channel the jags game is on directv?

It is shown in most of the West region and parts of the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast. Unfortunately most of Florida will see the Buccaneers.
