Quote:How can an illegal serve in the military?

Actually many recruits are foreign born. I don't know how many are illegal but there are some who serve. Immigrants who serve get on a fast track to become a naturalized citizen.
Quote:So the CIA started a civil war.. then waited forever and did presumably nothing until Russia built up their military in the area, took the Crimean peninsula and made a boatload of cash selling arms to Syria.. So we could prevent Russia from freezing out the EU.

Still not adding up for me that the CIA instigated the civil war in Syria. I am more inclined to believe the people got fed up with their poophead leader and rose up.

Quote:Al-Qaeda isn't ISIS. Obama didn't change the name of anything. But you're right about Saudi Arabia and Israel. The Saudis hate us, but our leaders have a real incestuous relationship with them. One of the main reasons I fantasize about what our country would be able to do if we truly invested in solar energy. We have made Saudi Arabia rich. What happens to them if we 'kick the habit?' As for Israel, ISIS goes after softer targets than that. Israel would take their lunch money of they tried to attack them. They have taken on the whole region and are still the toughest kid on the block.

The voice of reason.  Thank you.  I felt like I fell down the rabbit hole yesterday.

Except it doesn't make sense.  Syria has been stable for decades, with Christians, Jews and Muslims living together peacefully.  Then all of a sudden WE declare that, "Assad has to go".  Obama starts giving arms to ISIS, calling them the "junior varsity".  Obama wants to provide air cover in the Syrian war, but our military rejects the idea, saying, "I'm not Al-Qaeda's Air Force".  And that's the last time we've heard of Al-Qaeda.  Suddenly ISIS is producing glossy magazines, recruiting all over the world, and the best armies in the world are powerless to stop them.  They are selling oil to our buddies the Turks at half price, but nobody interferes until Russia comes on the scene.  Do we thank Russia for helping destroy ISIS?  Nope, we criticize them.

Don't be a chump.  ISIS is our creation.  The mad dog may have broken its chain and gone rogue, but that's okay, too.  We can use that even more.  Look how scared everybody is.  Look who takes credit for every mass attack.  Look who has Facebook and Twitter accounts.  We're being played.  Hillary wants to arm more "moderate rebels" to take on ISIS.  Except the "moderate rebels" always hand over their weapons and join ISIS.  Trump wants to totally wipe out ISIS once and for all and he's labeled the crazy one.  Wake up.
Syria was stable, huh?

Then can you explain this:

<p style="color:rgb(37,37,37);font-familyConfusedans-serif;">Following 2004 al-Qamishli riots, the Syrian Kurds protested in Brussels, in Geneva, in Germany, at the US and UK embassies, and in Turkey. The protesters pledged against violence in north-east Syria starting Friday, 12 March 2004, and reportedly extending over the weekend resulting in several deaths, according to reports. The Kurds allege the Syrian government encouraged and armed the attackers. Signs of rioting were seen in the towns of Qameshli and Hassakeh.[56]

<p style="color:rgb(37,37,37);font-familyConfusedans-serif;">Renewed opposition activity occurred in October 2005 when activist Michel Kilo and other opposition figures launched the Damascus Declaration, which criticized the Syrian government as "authoritarian, totalitarian and cliquish" and called for democratic reform.[57] Leading dissidents Kamal al-Labwani and Michel Kilo were sentenced to a long jail terms in 2007, only weeks after human rights lawyer Anwar al-Bunni was jailed. Although Bashar al-Assad said he would reform, the reforms have been limited to some market reforms.[48][58][59]

<p style="color:rgb(37,37,37);font-familyConfusedans-serif;">Over the years the authorities have tightened Internet censorship with laws such as forcing Internet cafes to record all the comments users post on chat forums.[60]While the authorities have relaxed rules so that radio channels can now play Western pop music, websites such as WikipediaYouTubeFacebook and Amazon have been blocked,[61] but were recently unblocked throughout the nation.[62][63]

"voice of reason" is a phrase that should never be used by a Hillary voter

Like voting for trump is such a sign of intellect. :-)
it's new blood at least.  that's why its logical.  we know what we get with Hillary and you're voting for it.  you're voting for more death.

I can guarantee Trump won't sign off on giving weapons to jihadists

Change for the sake of change is not logical.

Voting for a bigoted authoritarian that admired a tyrant like putin just because he's new blood is a terrible reason to vote for trump.

And by the way, you can't guarantee any thing about what trump would or would not do.

He doesn't even know what he would do. So how can you say that you can guarantee anything?

By that logic, we could put literally anyone in office and you'd be good with it. Sarah Palin. Sure. Louis Farrakhan. Why not? Vince McMahon. I love his biceps. Britney Spears. Kanye. Who cares? You're voting for Not Hillary. New blood is all that you require as a qualification.

that's right.  and literally anyone with common sense and without a hidden agenda would be better

Blah blah blah.  You're voting for a war mongering, lying, corrupt, jihadist arming witch. All because you've been brainwashed into thinking Trump is worse.
She wants to confiscate Americans' AR-15s but will give stinger missiles to a jihadist.  MAKES TOTAL SENSE

Brain washed? Lol

Dude I've provided factual evidence as to why I'm voting the way I am.

There is no questioning as to the claims I've made about der fuhrer...

lol "factual evidence" that has nothing to do with actually serving in office.  you're talking about 25k and Hillary has literally taken in millions of dollars for political favors... and given weapons to jihadists... and you're voting for her.  please just stay home on election day. let the free thinkers decide this election.  not your brainwashed [BLEEP].

If you think that a pro Russian authoritarian that respects the leadership style of tyrants like Saddam and putin has nothing to do with serving the office, then you really are a rube.

If you think a liar that has changed his position on the iraq war, lybia, abortion, amnesty, assault weapons bans, tax increases on the wealthy, and even his party affiliation is worthy of your vote - that's on you.

But that means you don't get to tell others that they shouldn't vote.

You're literally voting and hoping he does what you wish him to do. You have no idea what he would actually do.

And I didn't even get into the fact that he's a sexist bigot that would divide our country with his tweets and hate speech.
lol "Pro-Russian" stop

"Changing positions" is obviously worse than actually arming Jihadists as nations devolve into pure chaos

I at least have hope.  There is NO HOPE with Hillary.  We have already seen what she does.  And apparently you're cool with it, which makes you basically an enemy of the people.

Lol enemy of the people, huh? Sounds like you're already practicing your Gestapo rhetoric. Come on badger, calm down on the personal attacks.

And yes, he is pro Russia. Under the direction of manafort, a confirmed pro Russian lobbyist via a Ukrainian leader who wanted Russia to invade and annex Ukraine, trump changed a gop plank to appease Russian interests in regards to Ukraine. That happened during the gop convention this summer.
He isn't making military threats to Russia, he must be pro-Russia

and all this stuff about Manafort.  he isn't the one running for President, plus he was fired.  Hillary is running, and she's taken countless more payments from countries who aren't so nice.... so I dont even get what your problem is

The gop plank changed. Trump allowed that change to occur. Trump praises putin at every opportunity.

These are facts.
