Left the game with a knee injury

What you have somewhat stated is true to which I stopped being "too lazy" as you put it to get an better understanding of the revamped 2022 Practice Squad rules w/o COVID. Yes, players from the PS can be called up and play within games on an limited amount of times w/o affecting the 53 but will return to the PS if the clear the waver wire. Yes this was derived from the Former COVID PS rules as is the number of players that allowed to be on the practice squad. I also now know that tenured players can also be on the PS unlike prior to COVID. Alot has changed w/respect to the PS rules.

With that being said, excuse me for not knowing the revamped 2022 PS rules four games into the season. I'm not that Much of an Footbal Geek. No Pun Intended. I'll do better. Naw, I'll simply enjoy the games and let the effected personnel worry about the rules.

Now let's get back to my initial reasoning of this post w/respect to Chaisson's deficiencies/performances and or the lack of. Do you feel that he's worthy of the 53? In your opinion, has he lived up to the expectations? Your Expectations? The coaches expectations? I've rewatched this game three times now and there's No indications of him being injured from the team and or the broadcast that I'm aware of. Why was he downgraded? Hopefully you can better inform me on his status.

Time Will Tell.

NH3...

First, this wasn't a revamped 2022 rule.  The rule was in effect in 2021 as well as 2020.  It was lazy to continuously defend a factually wrong position that could have been avoided if you had simply googled "NFL practice squad rules".

Second, I'm not for beating up on someone who made a mistake.  We all make mistakes occasionally.  However, you started a thread based upon a falsehood and continued to argue for that falsehood despite multiple people informing you that you were wrong.  Some people, such as myself, had to tell you multiple times that your statements were false and you kept defending it.  Even in the message quoted above, you are continuing to argue that "downgraded" means anything other than an injury status.  You ask why was he downgraded?  Because as time passed, it became more apparent that his injury would prevent him from playing in the game.  Why else would he be downgraded on an injury report!?!?!  This is very routine.  In the very same week, both Zay Jones and Cole Van Lanen were also downgraded from questionable to out.  Since that time, the same thing for Foley Fatukasi.  This is standard practice.  I'm at a loss on whether you are purposely trying to be deceptive or are you really this ignorant of NFL practices.  Do you not understand the concept of an injury report?

As far as Chaisson, yes, he obviously was a bad first round draft pick.  I highly doubt anyone is arguing that point.  If one were to make an argument in his defense, it would be that he still remains very young.  Some might be surprised to know that Chaisson is younger than 3 of our 2022 draft picks and another 2 draft picks are within a month of his age.  Young players sometimes improve.  However, this is besides the point.  The question is what do you gain by cutting him?  You don't get that first round pick back.  Because his salary is guaranteed, you don't get any salary cap savings.  In fact, it would cost the Jaguars more to cut him.  You only cut him if you have someone better available to take his spot and we don't, so we keep him.  It wouldn't be the crime of the century, but it makes little logical sense to cut him when we don't have anyone better at his position to take his place.
The thing is he just isn't doing anything. I'm a little suprised there isn't any production.

Someone confused "downgraded" for "demoted" and set off a whole thread.

Literally 0 production. We can get that production from an undrafted guy. What a complete waste of a 1st round draft pick. Him and Bryan.

Sad BUT True. It became a matter of being Beaten Up via. Social Media because nobody's allowed to be uninformed. Someone has to take the high road so I digressed. It's been a long time since I've had medical bills.

LMAO...

Chaisson is on IR now.
How on earth will we replace his production?

Well if you cut him and leave a blank spot on the depth chart, you basically get the same production.
Unbelievable smh

WOW!!!

His knee injury was that bad or was it his play on the field? I may criticize a player's on field performances BUT I steer away from beating up a person, I mean bashing a person due to an injury that'll place them on IR.

Now we may have three rookies LBs on the field of play w/Muma as he played alot Sunday in Chaisson's absence. Or will they play Shaq at the position?

Time Will Tell.

get an electric heating pad to keep the bench warm?
This effectively ends our already very unlikely chance of getting anything for him in trade.

Chaisson is back
Would be hilarious if he makes a play on ST's or gets some sacks on defense.

LMAO. He was Downgraded but now he's Upgraded. I'm not a fan BUT he's a JAGUAR for now and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt if the coaching staff sees it fit to be.
