I sure hope that he does.
He has nowhere else to go but up. Maybe he can have a Taven Bryan-like 2 game breakout to close the season.
chaisson has alot more impact than Bryan. he had a great play last week on a pitch tha the pushed his Tackle into the backfield and caused a TFL by Lloyd to be made. he doesn't push him back that play might go for 30.

With all due respect, maybe you haven't been watching the games that closely. 99% of the plays, he's stuck to his blocker like velcro and is pushed out of the play. It's like he and his blocker are on Dancing with the Stars or something.
Plus, I never compared him to Bryan. You did.
It’s time to step up young fella.
Can't play any worse. Just getting in the backfield will be an improvement. Prove me wrong young fella.
I think we have to look at it like if the man he’s lined up against only takes him out of the play, we should consider it a win.
I think there is a chance he could be ok in coverage (bettsr than j allen covering) maybe. I don't know. I hope he shows out. Get some pressure. Take it back to the lsu days.
Dang, we're hoping that Chaisson steps up? How have we not traded or cut him yet? His impact will be felt...like having only 10 players on the field.

Haha. I think he's still a back up. He just needs to bring it. He has nothing to lose. He's playing on house money. Surprise us please.
Things are grim if we're hoping for Chaisson to make a play, he literally takes himself out of plays.

His salary is guaranteed, that's the only reason.
I still kinda chuckle when I see this headline, because I think, "Man, what is considered a downgrade from "1st round draft bust?"

I will hold my hand up and say how excited I was that he fell to us at 20; really thought he would be the steal of the draft. So far obviously I have been wrong. Hopefully, he will do better than what he has shown so far, still a young dude, but this may be his last chance to make it on this team.

Another case of them drafting a guy high with the idea that they would change his position. I just don't like that strategy with 1st rounders, get the guy who is going to do at the next level the job he did in college instead of taking linebackers and trying to make them ends and such. It just doesn't work.
As I've been critical of Chaisson, I have to give credit where credit is due. He showed up today. There were a few Chaisson sightings today in his extended roll play. It did my heart some good to eyewitness such positive play from him. I'm Not totally convinced as of yet but he did alright today. Will he matriculate into betterment?
Time Will Tell.

Agreed. Let's hope he can play well next week too and the weeks following.
He had at least 2 good pressures today
Let’s hope that he plays in at least 2 more games this year.
