Allen isn't even a FA until 2024 anyway and his 5th year tag price is $11.5m which is line anyway

Nah man.  Get with the program.  We're shipping him for whatever we can get.
What the heck has Hamilton been doing? Wasn’t he supposed to bring some interior pressure??

Still plenty of football left. He can always come out over the next 10 games and chain together a few 2.0 - 3.0 sack games and that will completely change my stance on him. I just don't like this idea of parading around that he's top ten this or top ten that.

He's got three [BLEEP] sacks guys. That's it. At some point, "getting close" can't be an excuse or reason to break the bank for him. I understand the nature of free agency. Every year the floor is increased and the guys that are already at the top and near the ceiling see the roof come off and they get a little bit more wiggle room to ask for more.

I just hope we don't let a good opportunity slip by us in next year's draft when we clearly have other positions to fill and we just have this "guy" eating up a chunk of our cap space playing just like he's been playing now for the last three years. A "guy".
Sacks isnt the only stat to evaulate him. Get your head out of your [BLEEP].

Yet, when people point out statistics to evaluate Lawrence from a different perspective you have your head up your [BLEEP].

Nice. That's actually not a bad deal. Wasn't aware of that. Thanks for calling that out. My arguments are now null and void.

Not developing into anything consistently good in the pass or run game.
He's solid when paired WITH Fatukasi vs the run, but not so much without him.

I don't have high hopes for him being more than rotation.

True, sacks aren’t the only stat for evaluation purposes. But sacks are the primary reason edge rushers get paid big $$$

Can't remember where I heard it. Probably on the radio. However, somebody mentioned that Jay Tufele is playing good up there for the Bengals.
A new CB is already here according to Pederson.
