His strip sack he was playing with his hand in the dirt. He is not an outside stand up lb. I think they need to keep him on the dline. Some saying he is not strong enough but I believe that is hog wash. If I am the coach he is playing dline the rest of his career.
Interesting trivia sidebar on that is - the play before the sack - the tacks were in an empty backfield 02 set forcing Walker to drop and cover a TE and he made a great tackle to limit that play as well.
I think he’s a monster as a 4-3 end.
I know people want Walker to instantly have double digit sacks and be a game wrecker, but opposing Offenses are already paying a lot of attention to him. He gets chipped/doubled A LOT. What's more concerning is that Josh Allen isn't taking advantage of that when he's getting more 1 v 1 chances.
Walker is going to be a really good player for us. It's going to take a little time because his pass rush skill set is so raw, but I think they're doing the right thing by making him focus on learning to play outside first. Eventually, I think he should be the type of player you line up all across the line and let him work, but right now he needs to develop that outside rush technique for it all to really be as effective.

I tend to agree with all of this. I'm steering a wide patient tack with Walker. He has crazy potential.
I hope this season turns out to be a good foundation as he builds an arsenal of skills.

This. He made back to back plays in two different positions. This is why he was drafted over Hutchinson. Good to see him with his hands in the dirt though. Need to see the same approach against Dallas.
Hopefully Cisco is back but man I really like seeing Wingard blitzing into the backfield. Almost every time I see him rushing from his position a good thing happens defensively.
Caldwell needs to keep getting creative. Muma is also hopefully back in the line up. Would rather see him in coverage over Schultz over Lloyd.

I think they need to make the switch from Jenkins to wingard at starting safety. Jenkins is just not very good at all
