Not good enough
Hate to tell you this, but the offense has played well enough all season for the Jags to at least be a .500 team.
The consistently poor part of the team has been the defense. You know, the one that couldn't stop the Texans, Broncos and Colts from mounting game winning drives.
The offense was off today. Yes. But the defense has been figured out by other teams for 8 weeks now. Don't let last week or the Raiders game fool you into thinking the defense isn't the biggest weakness. It is.
IDK in 5 out of 8 losses we haven't scored 20 points.
Today we only managed 14 and against the Texans only 6.
The offence is better than the defence but good enough to be better than 500 is pushing it IMO

Shame we didn't just take Sauce Gardner last year like I wanted, but I don't get paid millions to make the obvious picks.
He'd be beat by this no rush having team too. We should've taken Neal to build the line, just like we should've taken Wirfs and Jefferson two tears ago and a WR who doesn't fumble last year.
Time for the clowns to come out...FIRE BAALKE!!!

Meyer had compete control of personnel last year. You know this.
Do we know this for a fact? Sure didnt seem like we got that crazed work-a-holic attention to detail guy that he was as a college coach. He didn't know the names of players, didn't know what plays the coaches were running, etc.... it was almost like another hugh douglas who just wanted a vacation and a paycheck. He basically handed off all responsibility to his assistants for game plans. Why do we think he was so involved in drafting or free agency? Didnt even know who the best players in the NFL were. But he was out there sifting through free agency scouting reports? My guess is Baalke did all the work and Meyer just picked from whatever info Baalke gave him.
On the bright side, looks like TLaw is ok.
I've defended the defense a bunch this year, but theres no defending this performance that was awful.
Campbell/cisco/lloyd/muma/oluoken/hamilton/walker/Allen. Everyone else on the defense can go, and half the people I just named probably shouldn't be starting either but are good depth.

1000% agreed. Wanted both of them as the draft unfolded. Henderson/Chaisson was the biggest letdown of any draft I've ever watched. But I guess, bright side is maybe we don't get Lawrence if we took them? idk.

We know that he took ETN because he thought he was the same guy as Toney.

Neal has given up 5 sacks and has a PFF grade of 49.8. He’s garbage too

Yeah, it's true but damn we're wasting his years.

Neal is fine, he'll be a much better pro than Walker by the end.

Disagree on Neal, I think Sauce Gardner was the clear #1 player in the draft. However, I was one of the few who thought Walker Little would be a factor.. if they knew he wasn't they should have addressed the o line in free agency/draft a bit more.

You have no way of knowing that. At this point he’s shown less than Walker, so I’m not sure how you’re getting that idea.

Lol, less than Walker? Hardly.

Not hardly. He’s ranked higher at his position and has a higher grade, so yes he’s shown more.

I agree. I wanted Sauce and thought he was the best player in the draft.
Ironic that we thought we were set at corner having signed Griffin and now suddenly it's the biggest need on the team.

Lol, by PFF, or not really at all.

Wrong the o line pretty much did their job You can't expect a game with zero sacks... Drop passes and fumbles have nothing to do with the o line... Are you seriously trying to blame this on offense when Detroit literally scored on every single possession they had
