Coach Doug Pederson could come away with more power in Jacksonville.
Where did you hear this? Do you have a link?
Hopefully that news is not true. Coaches having that kind of control rarely ever works out. Belichick comes to mind but honestly he had a prime Tom Brady to wash out for some of those decisions.

Please let this be true
The problem with this team has always been complacency..

They never moved very fast to fix a problem.

Complaceny and hanger's on. Khan has yet to commit to a full clean sweep when making major personnel decisions. Khan just can't let anything go. Probably has a spank bank folder of ex girlfriends and flings to get off to. Disappointing.

While I generally agree with you, Pederson > Baalke.

I think its possible Spielman and Zimmer end up here in 2023. Spielman is doing network analyst work and was in the building here earlier this year and Zimmer is doing analyst work at Jackson St. which Deion is fixing to leave for Colorado.

One of them could end up here, but I doubt both would come together.  They weren't on the best terms when Zimmer was fired.  I'd love to get Spielman as our GM, but wouldn't want Zimmer.  His attitude was terrible at the end of his tenure in Minnesota.

Might be a little of both failures - we've brought in mediocre guys, gotten less than mediocre results.

A classic arguement in bad faith.

Where did I say Shaq Griffin should be kept?  Shaq Griffin is in IR and will never wear a Jaguar Jersey again.  The fact that you would even mention Shaq Griffin is proof you're not really here to discuss what's best for the franchise, you just want to argue for the sake of argueing.

I'm tired of that type of stuff.

Enjoy your pyric victory.

That sure implies to me that you think the players we have are fine. Shaq is in fact on IR, but until he's cut, he's part of the team and potentially part of the gameplan going forward. I mentioned three other dudes, who may or may not be part of our future defense. If it's just the coach, we should keep them around and expect better results, right?

We may need a better DC, but the players we presently have (and potentially carry into the future) aren't cutting the mustard.

They never moved very fast to fix a problem.

They spent a record amount of money in free agency last offseason and added a Super Bowl winning coach

That really doesn't seem complacent to me at all.

The GM just  missed on several acquisitions and the DC may or may not turn out to be in over his head.
I reckon Pederson can figure out that part if Baalke can find players to fit the spots lacking talent.

Not gonna happen this year though.
