Wrong go through the playoff machine that I showed you every scenario that I went through still comes down to the last week because of divisional wins.... I put the jags beating Texans...the Titans losing to the Texans and Dallas... It's still comes down to the last week if we lose against the Titans in week 17 we have the same exact record and they win because of more divisional wins....http://www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs/machine
Jags vs Titans is WEEK 18. What he is saying the week before last game is meaningless.
I actually don't agree. While you can still win the division and rest some guys in Week 17. I think:
1. maintaining the intensity and focus to win is more important.
2. On top of that, beating Houston and Tenn gets the team above .500 which is also a culture and mindset thing.
3. Lastly, we need to break the losing streak to the texans eventually.

If twits lose to texans and cowboys, jags can lose next week and still get in by beating the twits in Jax, even if the jags lose next weekend. Either way, it DOES come down to the last game, but jags don't HAVE to win out...... they simply control their destiny if they do.

Dude. If Tennessee loses on Saturday, our game against Houston next week is meaningless. You’re like the 3rd guy that’s so sure he’s right and has no idea what he’s talking about regarding this. If that happens, all that matters is week 18 against the tacks.
Wrong if they lose against the Titans this week we have the same record.... If we beat Houston and Titans lose to Dallas now we're one game up... Then we play them... if they win we have the exact same record but they own tiebreaker cuz they have more divisional wins... So if we lose a game we have to definitely make sure they lose to Houston or Dallas regardless it all comes down to the last game now....... We pretty much have to win out

Josh Rosen 2.0?
Trade him to Seattle for a 5th. Backs up Geno Smith for a year. Fizzles out.

I get what you're saying though.... If they lose to Houston we have the same record cuz chances are Titans are going to lose to Dallas Titans pretty much have to lose another game it does come down the week 18 regardless.... But we can't look at it that way we have to pretty much win out
Gotta love when someone constantly says “Wrong!” and they’re the ones who are clearly wrong. Haha.
Beautiful weather, a jags win
What more could ya want
Soooo, feeling a lot like 1996 in here. Hope we finish out 9-8 and make noise in the playoffs.

We’re going to know Saturday after Tennessee plays whether or not our game the following week is meaningless or not. If they lose, our game next week is meaningless. That was the entire point of the post you jumped in and said was “wrong”. Lol. We’ve gone in a circle. You’re almost there.
All good though. Don’t take my ribbing too personal. We got a football team fellas. High fives all around.
Is it just me or have there been a dramatic increase of Achilles injuries in professional sports in the past 5 years or so?
I never remember hearing of them before, and it doesn't seem to be something that is hard to diagnosis like a Lisfranc.
I know there is an increase in both ACL and Tommy John injuries in younger athletes like high school and college over the past 15-20 years.

Man..... I'd love it if Jags and Lions both make runs.
What A SB that would be no one anywhere picked.

You’re all over the place. I think you confused tacks and tinhorns from the initial post you responded to. And the final week of the season is week 18 not 17.
We don’t have to beat houston if tacks lose a game. It comes down to the week 18 game against Tennessee for the division and a home playoff game. If tacks lose Saturday, the game against Houston for us next week is indisputably meaningless for us aside from needing to break their streak over us. Only week 18 matters. Do the math. If we lose to tinhorns but beat tacks we end up 8-9. If tacks lose to either to Houston or Dallas and also to us they also wind up 8-9. We win division on head to head tie breaker since we swept them in this scenario.
Sorry I said week 17 ment 18.... I get what you're saying now Yes if Titans lose the Houston this weekend then technically next weekend doesn't matter... But I wouldn't rest anybody were playing hot You know what happens to first round by teams in the playoffs their track record just and all that good

I get it... I also agree on one two and three Don't rest anybody beat the Texans beat the Titans and get into the playoffs
Trevor loves the old school jags logo hat. Been wearing it in quite a few videos.
