Packers are releasing multiple pro bowl guard Josh Sitton. The guy is a beast and can replace JOKEel easily. He plays Packers in week 1 if he becomes a Jag.
100% agree.

Wrong forum, but any idea how why he got cut? Age? Injury history?
Not only is it the wrong forum but the he is still officially in Green Bay.
Only thing I can think of is age. This will be his 10th year in the league I believe

Drafted in 2008. He's 30.
Ah. Thats some miles, but still not terrible. Lineman seem like they last longer than skill positions. I'd dangle a 5th or 6th if they're looking to trade.

Not even gonna get my hopes up

So what?
A trade would guarantee him to us.
Beachum, Sitton, Linder, Cann, Parnell would be a stout line.
He probably has 3-4 good years.
If we don't acquire this guy, we dumb
Enough time to draft and develop

dude was born in jacksonville, florida native
get him right now
ZFG if wrong forum. Sitton is a stand up guy and knows Blake Bortles well. Both are UCF alums and do charity together. It's a no brainer
What would you give up to get him? A 5th?

From Pro Football Focus....
Just how good is Sitton? Including the playoffs, he earned our top rating among all right guards in both run and pass blocking. He has played in 38 straight games (including playoffs) without missing a snap. His combination of consistency and excellence makes him one of the most valuable members of the Packers’ offense despite rarely drawing attention.

If he's that good, how come the packers don't want him
