Agreed, one could argue he was player of the game.  I think he definitely gets ST player of the week

McManus was a great surprise in the off season, hes been good for a long time and has a cannon leg.
We should put in that play the Bengals ran for the TD to Chase today in the Red Zone. Pump fake to Etienne in the Flats, and rocket it to the EZ to one of our WRs. We’ve got to get better in the Red Zone against good Defenses. 0-3 Today.

Speaking of good Defenses- the Steelers were 3/12 on 3rd Down. That’s balling out D!
Am I missing something? Why do you guys keep saying Gotsis laid out Pickens. He laid out Pickett, who didn't say anything about our defense that I'm aware of.

In his postgame remarks, Trevor credited the D for keeping them in it.

The Jaguars are now 6-2 and tied with three other teams for the second best record in the NFL.  The only team with a better record is in the NFC.  Two of those 6-2 teams play next week.  Hope for the tie?

Que?
Jags were opportunistic on defense again, their offense isn't good to begin with. The weather didn't help either offense, the refs gave the Steelers a free fumble by Bigsby (again) that shouldn't have been ruled a fumble. The biggest feelsbad moment was Trevor's interception trying to force it to Ridley in the corner, that was careless and took points off the board. It was a sloppy, defense struggle of a game and we have the tools to win different kinds of games. It isn't pretty, doesn't matter. Our record is pretty.
Apparently we’re getting good enough in the eyes of opponents that we now have the zebras on our side. Who knew the lowly Jags would get the Patriots treatment someday.

The funny thing is that it’s not like there was a huge disparity, both teams were penalized 6 times with the Jags losing more yardage.

The face mask penalty against I think it was Engram or maybe Kirk surprised me. I’ve seen Derrick Henry do that at least once a game and he never gets called for it. As long as you don’t twist the defender’s head around, it’s supposed to be legal.
I think the refs might have been targeting the Steelers a bit, watching them closely, because of the personal fouls and unsportsmanlike penalties the against the Rams, and the fines they received as a result.

Makes sense.
Multiple players drawing those penalties and fines in prior weeks will have an officiating crew's attention.
They still didn't call everything they could have called on them.

I guess we should get used to the whining from opposing fans/players etc

We've got #jetlag & #boughtofficials so far. What's next?

We're leaving a lot of unhappy fans in our wake.  City after city.

Losing to a team that so many still identify as a perennial loser has got to be tough.

(look at out own reaction to the texans loss)

That perception could change if we can win a playoff game for the second year straight.
Hopefully multiple postseason wins.
Even though it's only one game, they're such a huge difference between 5-3 and 6-2.  Two games above .500 versus four games above .500.
I was very disaapointed with Farrell & Fortners performance I that game
