We outplayed them. We got pressure on Stroud, and he had to scramble. But it's to his credit that he had a lot of success when he was forced out of the pocket. Trevor can do the same thing. They're really very similar. Both of them can succeed from the pocket, or when forced out of the pocket.
The things that impress me about Stroud are his coolness under pressure, and his accuracy. He throws very accurate passes.
How did the Panthers miss on the #1 pick so badly? That was a very bad decision to make that trade to move up and then select the wrong guy.
It's the owner. Owner David Tepper overrode the desire of the GM and HC and traded up to get Young. It's almost unanimous on the Panthers message board. To quote George Costanza, "He fires people like it's a bodily function".
