Obviously that blew up on the Biden campaign. Why did the trump campaign agree to it? That’s tougher to know. Perhaps they wanted an early knock out and never thought that Biden would ever pull out as Biden is known for being stubborn.

My belief is quite the opposite. No one, I mean no one, who encountered Biden on a frequent basis believed he was capable of a debate. This was an effort of pure, unadulterated sabotage. They wanted him out of the way and the only avenue was to expose him to the world, out of protection of his handlers and the MSM.

Mission accomplished.

Not true. The argument wasn't about his age, it was about his acuity. Trump is old but he still retains his faculties. Biden is slipping and gaining speed.

He’s not as bad as Biden, but Trump has had some slips too. He confused pelosi and Haley for example. Most people think Trump is too old regardless if he’s got it together a lot better than Biden.

The narrative for the past year has been about age but the real culprit is mental acuity.  Trump has it, Biden does not but the MSM will continue to make it about age.

Biden hasn't been seen yet, so does he know he dropped out yet?

I think there's going to be a contested convention because cackle is an embarrassment.

We likely never see Biden in public again.
Looks like the potential competition are all getting behind Harris.

Anyone who speaks frequently in front of groups, many time extemporaneously, are going to slip up on occasion. Attempting to equate that with Biden's obvious sundowning is specious reasoning.

Yes there is, the same people/person who was running it for the senile old man they just kicked to the curb.

But no one with the authority.

If I'm China: (calling the Russians) "You take one side, we'll take the other."

This is in jest, of course, but it paints a picture of how suddenly the world can turn outside of the hours of 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We're in dangerous times.
There are definitely people running the country.... they just aren't accountable to us.

If it happens like this, it's because none of them want to run now. They want to wait until 2028 and not have this failure on their record.

VP pick would be very telling as I don't see any of the top competitors taking it. Look for a nobody to get picked just like she was if she is the nominee.

The call yesterday was terrible and the money people don't want to fund her.

Nobody could be dumb enough to vote for Harris…could they?

Yep, and she'll brag about it.

Reading some progressive boards and they're ecstatic. They are already dismissing anyone who mentions DEI and jumping on the age issue against Trump. People are blind.

Going to be interesting tomorrow.

Lawsuits should be filed as Biden is the only democrat candidate (other than some one offs) who filed to run. All the state laws say you had to already file to be a democrat party representative. Independents are the only ones who have a later date this year, although that date has passed for some states. Heritage foundation and others have said they would fight the ballot switch.

Harris is an anchor baby and therefore not able to run. I doubt anyone really fights this one though but they should.

One last one and I'll stop flooding the thread with twitter posts for tonight.  I think AOC is dumb as rocks, but anyone pulling the curtain back on the Dem machine for all to see is worth a listen.
