One began lobbying for a new class called Open. The rest were just looking for the easy button.  Proves it has happened but not that it is ok.Also is is less than 100 years.

Well, except for Hilter in the 30's and this Olympic committee that deflected the situation to the country issuing a passport. So no proof of the statement. I am out of this conversation now as it is beginning to go in circles....lol

Parts don't matter for gender, you can cut parts off and try to create some fake parts. Gender is the sex you were born with, so the DNA says either XX or XY. There may be some other mutations but I doubt those are making the Olympics.

It's that simple. Doesn't matter what you think you are, what you look like, etc.

Wrong, sex and gender are not the same thing. Sex is immutable, gender is not. That's why the games and such should be sex-based and not gender based. Dude can dress up as a girl if he wants, but he competes with other dudes.

Things are getting overly complicated. When it comes to anything that’s not a real man from birth, there probably needs to be competition divided into categories. Someone smarter than me can figure out those categories.

Someones smarter than you are the reason we have these problems. That's not meant as an insult, it's just that this is pretty basic and all these people overthinking it are just making it worse.

That's what I meant but I don't really play the games with sex and gender being different. You can play dress up and pretend but you aren't changing those 2.

There are about a dozen or so well documented "mutations" of chromosomes, and also fetal hormone responses, and hormone developments during puberty that all fall into an "intersex" category.  And many of them have made the Olympics.

Somehow we went from the history of intersex people in the international Olympics from 1896 onwards and you jumped to Democrats in 2024.

You are trying to muddy it and call it intersex instead of answering the question. No one cares if they are intersex, it's not about the parts or what they call themselves. There is a simple blood test to determine if you are male or female. Any extra X or Ys still make you XY or XX. You can have both, extra, none, etc parts that make you intersex but that doesn't determine your DNA.

Allow me to be the first person to inform you of a condition called complete androgen insensitivity.

I read somewhere that they are offering TransGen categories in some Global events (not the Olympics) sp perhaps that is the direction of the future. As I stated before, any indication that someone is a male and competing against females in female category competitions is absurd.

Obviously, this is a situation where the very same people who insisted on separate but equal women's sports have also blurred the line determining what is a man and what is a woman.
