3. Final three drives consisting of 7 run plays, 1 pass play and 2 sacks in back to back fashion to end the last offensive series.
From ESPN:
Can the offensive line hold up? That was the biggest question entering the season, and it didn't change after Sunday. With the game tied and the Jaguars having a chance at a game-winning drive, OTs Anton Harrison and Cam Robinson gave up sacks on consecutive plays. Short yardage was an issue as well. The playmakers are in place for the offense to be successful -- especially with the addition of receiver Brian Thomas Jr. -- but there's no chance at consistency if the line, which ranked 29th in pass block win rate in 2023, continues to struggle.
That's the important takeaway for me. It's concerning. Miami doesn't have a loaded, big name front seven neither.
Cleveland is getting dog walked by Dallas, but, they'll somehow allow these guys to come into town next Sunday and make it a game.
The entire staff and players appeared to have [BLEEP] themselves after Etienne's fumble and they essentially proceeded to literally choke the rest of the game away via slow and self strangulation.
Too far into this as a cohesive unit to not figure that out and not fight back. Especially on offense. I put WAY more expectations on this offense. WAY more.
That's Doug's pride. That's Press' pride. Nielsen coached his [BLEEP] off today as far as I am concerned. The offense should be the strength of this team by now. This offense should be carrying this team by now.
It just can't seem to get out of it's own way and it's the same damn song and dance in year three with this offensive coaching staff. Concentration drops on 3rd downs, piss poor pass protection or push when it's crunch time and do or die time and the untimely, back breaking, momentum shifting turnover.
They're consistently good at pissing people off because it's the ultimate tease on offense. Tired of it. [BLEEP] tired of it. They better bring their [BLEEP] A game against the Browns on Sunday at home.
Gloves are off. [BLEEP] this wait and see [BLEEP]. It's time to show and [BLEEP] tell.

Imagine being such a moron that you really believe a loss by a team about to take a 24-7 lead in the 3rd quarter is because of the offensive playcalling. Lol.

Bad coaching, and bad offensive execution cost us this game.
Trevor needs to do better than getting sacked twice on his final drive. 17-17 with 3 minutes to go. He needs to go and drive us down the field and win it.
You can’t get sacked like that twice. You just can’t.

ETN fumble (obvious)
OL continuing to give Trevor no time to throw
Going into a turtle shell with offensive play calling after fumble
Hats off to the defense though. Tyreek is going to get his but overall thought they did a very good job.

Lawrence had a whopping 21 pass attempts today. Was sacked 3 times.
2 of which came on the last series which was set up by the last two series where they ran it 7 times in a row and couldn't get it done.
This whole game was a head scratcher after that fumble.

I found this game strange. The Jags came out strong in the first half after the horrible 1st drive. Up 17-3. And suddenly, it was like they developed dementia or they intentionally threw the game In the 2nd half. They did exactly the opposite after the ETN fumble. Any realistic approach after one half of football with a two-score lead would continue to use what is working from the 1st half.
I didn't have this team winning the opening anyways. It's just the questionable 2nd half actions that left a bad taste in my mouth.
