You don't know for sure if it was a wash or not.  Cooke is the best punter in the league and they could have muffled the punt or pinned them inside the 10 and it's a different game.  If you think going for it on your on 30 when you have a lead is a good idea I disagree. So if they scored a TD then it was a bad decision?  Lol.

Short version the team blew the lead ...the whole team
with the browns coming next week after getting run over by dallas...who''s going to be more PO'ed?

You don't know for sure if it was a wash or not.  Cooke is the best punter in the league and they could have muffled the punt or pinned them inside the 10 and it's a different game.  If you think going for it on your on 30 when you have a lead is a good idea I disagree. So if they scored a TD then it was a bad decision?  Lol.

Didn't say I thought it was a good idea. Just pointing out that, in the grand scheme of things, not going to throw myself into a bed of rocks after a risky gamble didn't result in any points.

The three drops on third down's hurt far more in the grand scheme of things and they came off the hands of your two highest paid receiving options and leaders on offense.

That hurts more in my opinion.

In the grand scheme of things you don't know what would have happened if we punted and pinned them deep though. Drops happen, going for it on your own 30 with a lead doesn't. I'm not worried about it either, it's the Jags after all and we have seen this play and these decisions for years.  I'll be there next week to see if we start 0-2 or finally get a win. We have lost 6 out of the last 7.  At some point there are no more excuses.

Not going to go back and read all the whining, but that loss is squarely on Etienne.  No two ways about it.

This was a classic flukey week 1 game.
We saw promise out of Davis, Bigsby and BTJ. Lawrence played well even if the stat line doesn't show it. One of the late sacks was definitely him holding the ball too long though.
The defense played tougher than last year for most of the game.
The o-line mistakes looked more mental than physical, which is a nice change of pace.
The Dolphins are one of the better teams in the league and signs are the Jags will be as well.

It was a blowout and they stepped on their own [BLEEP] out there.

Now they get Myles Garrett coming to town next week…. Gonna be a doozy

To me we played very well for three quarters, the whole team.

If I had to pick a reason why the offense struggled on the 4th:Out of our four pillars on offense( Trevor, Travis, Engram and Kirk), Three dropped the ball, literally( 2 drops by kirk and one by Engram on 3rd down, and the ETN fumble).

Can anyone remember the last time this real beat a team that was favored?

Great first half. #1’s fumble cost the game. If Jags up 24-7 it’s over.

Tyreek should have been in jail. Sour grapes, Jags win if he’s out.

If we lose to the Browns next week after the way Dallas just waxed them in Cle. SMH

if we by some mircle keep the game clsoe vs browns nfl will make sure we lose cause they are mad khan didn't move jags to london,and is building a new stadium in jacksonville. the NFL will do everythign they can to make sure jags lose. rember nfl hates the city of Jacksonville
