Njoku will most likely be out. He murdered us last year

Hopefully with our new scheme that wouldn't have been the case this year, but injuries do sometimes help!
Browns have a much better OL than the Dolphins do. I like to see JHA show up a little more. This should be a win unless the Jaguars continue to have dementia in the 2nd half.

As a whole yes, but Armstead is one of the best LTs in football

Doug says Campbell will miss some time

Sucks to hear about Campbell. Especially after the contract extension. It happens. Next man up though. Bump Jones up on the depth chart and same goes for Prince.
First game nerves is also a factor that is no longer there for our rookies

Also are the brownies rhe special kind
I expect a reaction from Cleveland after the kicking they will get all week. The Dallas dline destroyed them yesterday. We need Walker and Josh to have a big game.

There were plenty of positives yesterday and hopefully they can build on them. I think we'll see what the attitude in the building is like with how we play Sunday. We are desperate for a W right now and I'll take that however ugly it may need to be.

Really don't want to go to Buffalo 0-2
I want to see Kirk and engram step up
Cut out the stupid drops and bull [BLEEP] and be a example

Dang right! Next man up and let’s go to work. Lot of excitement about Jones and he plays with fire. A lot like Telvin Smith. That type of play is infectious.

Jones is nice in man to man coverage and plays scrappy.

Buster Brown can give you some quality reps on the outside too.

Last season against the Browns, Engram had 11 receptions for 95 yards and 2 TD.

The bad news is Lawrence threw 3 picks. We have historically been bad at covering the TE, and Njoku had 2 TD in that game.
Well Njoku isn't playing. Trevor shouldn't even have been playing following his injury on MNF against the Bengals. Watson hasn't played the Jags as a Brown. And Kirk wasn't playing.

So yea.... I guess all those "facts" you threw out there matter for this game.

Well that’s why the sentence starts with the name of a player and not a team. Trevor shouldn’t have been playing is your “fact” that you threw out there that didn’t matter for that game or this game. And Kirk wasn’t playing, and neither was Watson, or Pederson, or Mark Brunell.

Settle down Sassy Sally
We need this game bad now with what happened in week 1
The Browns may just be in tank mode. They will run the ball and play some inspiring defense, but have to help block Myles Garrett. Watson isn't going to take them anywhere. This is about us righting the ship and looking like a playoff team. I don't see us losing this game and then contending for anything meaningful this season. Obviously a slow start is better than a slow finish, we have to win in front of the home crowd.

Man I thought the overraction from our game was dumb. Tank mode? After a whole game.

They're not in tank mode. They're being tanked by a QB that is now past his prime after being yanked out of Houston though. Biggest overpaid wanker in the NFL.

Cleveland has been competitive in a tough AFC North. Stefanski is a solid coach. Just sandbagged by poor QB play and circumstances along with no Nick Chubb at RB due to injuries.

They're a middling team just like our team. This game can go either way but I am going to favor our team at home in this one after a tough road loss.

They haven't been the same since Chubb went down.  He could carry a team with a bad QB but Ford won't be able to do that

I really don't remember people being so over the top in their reactions to a single week of football. We've always had the knee jerkers, but it just seems like people are outright hysterical this year.

Should be fairly obvious as to why that is though. 8 - 3 start last year, followed by just 1 win in the second half of the season against the worst franchise in the NFL at the moment. A lot of talk from ownership, a lot of contract extensions handed out to cornerstone pieces to this franchise. The offense then proceeds to tease the entire [BLEEP] fanbase for three quarters only to allow ONE fumble to derail their promising start.

It's extremely frustrating. To see the same habitual patterns and errors occurring with this football team. ESPECIALLY on offense, where, again, that's supposed to be the strongest unit on this roster by now, going into year three, it's the same head coach, it's the same offensive coordinator and it's the same core four players in Lawrence, Kirk, Engram and Etienne.

They should be better by now. They should be humming along. They should be executing better in crucial situations where situational awareness needs to be revved up. This division is also a lot more competitive now with a surging tinhorns team behind Stroud, who, whether we like it or not, got off to a better career start in the QB discussion, and, who knows, maybe Anthony Richardson starts to develop into the same pain in the [BLEEP] to deal with every week as well.

Sense of urgency is amplified for a lot of folks this year. The sheer amount of panic that radiated off my TV after ETN's fumble and that TD pass to Hill is still seeped into my skin now. I knew the moment he coughed that football up that the game was over. That's how common that kind of habit has become for this team since last year. They have to shake the cobwebs off.

Get it right this Sunday against the Browns, and I am sure a wave of cool air and calmness will wash over the fanbase and media for at least a week. If they get their [BLEEP] kicked in Buffalo by the Bills on Monday, that's fine. Just don't go up there 0 - 2. Because, mathematically, teams that start off 0 - 2 or 0 - 3 are doomed by all historical accounts in this sport.
I wonder if Willis will be out for the Browns this week? He did nt play against Dallas. Hopefully he's out again and Josh Allen can eat.

Campbell being out concerns me a little bit. Cooper was targeted a lot last Sunday but Watson could barely hit water if he fell out of a boat. It's not so much as Josh that I want to see get after Watson. It's just more about doing exactly what they did last Sunday. Keep the plays in front of you. Keep the running game in check and non existent. Let your base package effect the passer more than anything else so you're not having to over commit anybody else from the back seven to shore up any weak areas.

I think they looked good on Sunday against the Dolphins. I really do. If I am Stefanski and looking at the film this week? I am already looking at some things that worked against them and that was the quick screens to the RB's, the drag routes and a few passes that were there for the taking down the seams here and there when Waddle got open.

Nielsen needs to be prepared for a lot of heavy sets that result in misdirection, he needs to be prepared for them going after the LB's, especially if he's going to send Lloyd after Watson and leave Muma out there. He needs to be prepared for the RB screen play. So, it'll be an interesting contest.

For us on offense. I think the obvious concern starts with Myles Garrett, especially if he's working Anton Harrison after a really bad first start this past weekend. I think they're going to be tougher to run the football against. I don't think you're going to see a lot of Bigsby breaking loose like he did against the Dolphins. Denzel Ward is a decent CB. I would like to throw everybody at him to keep him on his toes if possible. I would try like hell to run away from Garrett.

I would really keep the under center calls and play action calls to a minimum in this one if I am being honest. I think you just need to let Lawrence operate more from the gun in this one, to avoid any potential sacks that result in 2nd or 3rd and long situations. This is to keep the front seven in front of him so he can see exactly what's happening and process it faster. This would be a good week to have Bigsby and Etienne rotate in and out of the backfield on the field at the same time.

Maybe set up a RB draw play at some point after nickel and diming them. Maybe get Etienne on a quick pass over the middle if they try isolating him on a LB. There's a lot of ways to approach it. It's going to take more than 21 pass attempts to win this football game though. And, not to look too far ahead, but, it's probably going to be the same case with Buffalo that following Monday. Which, by the way, they get a three days head start on rest and preparation at home since they play Thursday night here soon. Makes up for the London advantage we had on them last year.
The newest on Watson

Conklin was out too.  Hopefully their 2 tackles are out again.  This is a game where Engram should eat.  I see Etienne bouncing back too
