Missed watching the Jags-Bears game because of schedule conflicts... And surprisingly, my Sunday was very enjoyable.

Considering not watching this upcoming game through my own volition and having another great Sunday.
The "best" result is the Pats have a blowout win. Rookie QB throws 5 TD's in a breakout game. Jags lose 52-9 after Cam Little hits three 50+ yard FG's. Make it so embarrassing that Khan is forced to take action and he starts the hunt for a new GM and coaching staff immediately.

But Jags likely squeak out a win. Just enough so the coaching staff is retained until the end of the season. All the best coordinators get scooped up by the better franchises, so Jags are left with some retread like a Pedersen 2.0. Another lost decade with a 30% winning percentage. Except ticket prices skyrocket because of the new stadium, so only fans of other teams buy tickets making every single game a road one for the Jags.
The Cisco situation really should spark a serious players only meeting. These situations are usually handled internally by the players, so I’d expect them to come out with some juice. My thing is, who are the leaders in the locker room that can call out other players? Cisco is trash, he shouldn’t be saying anything lol. JHA? Engram?

We also have the advantage of being in London a week prior. This is one of those “should” win games that none of us would be surprised if we lose.

I genuinely believe we don't have that "rah-rah" leader on this team to truly call players out while leading by example. However, I think BTJ could become one of these guys as he gains more NFL experience - despite him seeming pretty "quiet" in media outlets. He definitely has that DAWG mentality on the field and isn't afraid to engage in jawing with defenders.

We had guys like Jalen Ramsey and Telvin Smith - and we know how that worked out unfortunately.

But, we need to find our Mike Peterson/Donovin Darius/Marcus Stroud - and more John Henderson slapping...

I told my family and myself this before the preseason started that I was considering watching them play every other weekend. Six games in and I have lied to them. I am considering it again though. I am going to miss them this Sunday anyway with a cruise to catch.

I am going to see them in December at home when they play Houston. I was hoping that game would have had some kind of meaning to it. I can see now it won't mean that much to anybody really on this football team sadly.
I’m going down with the ship. I will watch every min just like I have every tough season. I will still wear my jags key chain. There is no shame in being loyal. I’m not going to change. I’m just going to maintain through the pain.

No shame in being loyal? The story of The Band Of The Falcon has entered the chat.

I read this quickly and saw foosball instead of football on your last line for some reason and it made things make perfect sense.  What if they spend all week getting really competitive with each other in the locker room over foosball instead of actually practicing? We might actually have some champion level foosball players in there.

Yeah me too.  The only thing that would allow me to take back my Sundays would be the Jags moving out of town permanently.
I'm not going to root for us to lose. I still want W's even though that's unlikely right now but this one...this is a no excuses, gotta have it W. The Pats are a mess, they have so few weapons at WR and are a bad team this year.

This should be a 3 score victory but that's not who we are right now. A W isn't going to change anything big picture but I want to see some fight from these players and a sign they haven't quit.

If the players are quitting after a 1-5 start, we have an awful lot more problems than Baalke and the coaches.

Drake Maye will enter the rookie of the year conversation after this weekend.  Don't do this to yourself.

(I'm actually with you though)

Thank you. I fear I'm going full band still playing as the Titanic just under mode right now.
I’m not gonna actively root for a loss but I’m not actively cheering for them this weekend either. I’m just indifferent to them right now
All the betting lines still have the Jags as ~5.5-6.5 pt favorites.

Would a win prevent Lions-Packer from being flexed into the SNF slot when Jags face the Eagles?
The NFL did not reinstate Jaguars S Tashaun Gipson from his six-game suspension on Monday.
We’re not quite sure why Gipson wasn’t reinstated, but barring a change later in the week, it sounds like the veteran safety will remain ineligible for the Jaguars’ Week 7 game against the Patriots in London. Gipson was suspended earlier this offseason for violating the league’s performance-enhancing substances policy and signed with the Jaguars back in August.

Gets better by the minute.
Eh another loss inc
I mean if we are all so sure the Jags lose this game, then betting on the Patriots would be easy money, right?

You are even getting 5-6 points, so the Pats don't even need to out right win to cover the bet.

I partied too hard the previous night. Slept through the game and just checked the score and flushed it.  It's so nice not religiously watching losers every week and letting them get you down. It seems like an acquired skill though.

When's the last time a team played back-to-back rookie QBs and got annihilated?

I open up multiple tickets with $5 bets each for big payouts. Mix and match. I hit a 7 parlay this past Sunday. Won $375 off $5.

Would have to look at the 1970's Buccaneers teams more than likely or maybe the winless Lions and Browns teams.

The thing is a small win won't cut it, e.g. 3ptd, 7pts

The only thing is for a blow-out win by 20pts that might help soothe the pain a while longer for us fans
