The only thing is for a blow-out win by 20pts that might help soothe the pain a while longer for us fans
The odds of a blowout are 50/50.
The odds that the Jaguars are the team blowing out the Patriots is 20/80.
The patriots, for how bad they are, are still competent on Defense. They will eat up our boring offensive game plan. There's no way we blow these guys out. On top of that, the Jaguars pass D is in shambles. Unless JHA and Walker can get multiple sacks, there will be time for the rookie to pick apart our secondary.
Maybe we win. But if we do, it'll be a nail biter.
Here's what's more likely. We keep it close for a couple quarters. Then a mistake happens. A mistake you could never imagine. But there will be one. And it will completely deflate the coaches and the players. It'll be a silly play. But it will send this entire team into chaos. And then, the entire team folds it up. Pat's win with a game ending FG or a blown coverage TD.
Jags need to show some pride. Get up off the ground and play hard.
At this point it doesn't matter. Even if they start playing better 6 or 7 wins is likely the max this season. Early October and we're just going through the motions. Best case is playing spoiler.
In reality let's just fast forward to the offseason so we can clean house and start all over again.

This is pretty much where I'm at.
Season is shot but here's a few things I'll be watching the rest of the season:
1. TLaw and BTJ continuing to build chemistry.
2. Tank taking over the backfield
3. Maason Smith (hated the pick) hopefully developing.
4. Montaric Brown hopefully solidifying the CB2 spot

I like Brown, but I'm hopeful that both Jones and Prince overtake him. They're just better overall athletes and have higher ceilings than Buster.

What are we getting for the loser cycle of ##becausejaguars?

Maye put up almost 250 yrds and had 3 TDs with 2 INTs against a really good Texans D in his first career game. Maye could have his breakout game against the worst pass D in the league. This game could very well be the number 1 pick in the draft. We might get Campbell back and he could possibly be the difference between a win and a loss if he replaces Darby. It should be a good one in London.
Go to church? Cut grass? Sleep in ? Drink a lot during the Sat night GA vs Texas game and nurse your hangover on Sunday?
So many options between 9am and 1pm on Sunday.

Church? If the Jags have taught me anything, it’s that there is no god

C'mon fellow Jags fans. Put your money where your mouth is. Bet against your team/the spread. Are you both capable and willing to?
That Sour Diesel strain makes me not even really care anymore.. I'm looking forward to cooking out for the game.
Steaks and ribs, baby!!

Heck no. Never bet against your team.

I’ll take “Something Pete Rose would never have said” for $200, Alex.

You are even getting 5-6 points, so the Pats even need to out right win to win the bet.
I open up multiple tickets with $5 bets each for big payouts. Mix and match. I hit a 7 parlay this past Sunday. Won $375 off $5.

When's the last time a team played back-to-back rookie QBs and got annihilated?
Would have to look at the 1970's Buccaneers teams more than likely or maybe the winless Lions and Browns teams.

In Matt Ryan's first NFL game, the Falcons scored 21 points in the 1st Quarter against the Lions in the 2008 regular season opener. The 4-0 pre-season became a distant memory quickly.
While Aaron Rodgers was in his 4th NFL season, in 2008, it was his first season as the Packers starting QB. Like MANY other QBs that season, Rodgers lit up the Lions Defense. In the two combined games between the teams, Rodgers had 6 TD passes and 0 interceptions.
Patriots set a nfl record and score 1 million points, while the loseing jags set a record by being minus 200 points. Just kidding with that score, thats a little off the wall.
Pats will win though 44 to 10 if jags can eve score any points on that great defense.
