This offense with the spread em out from the shotgun has put all the pressure on the QB, and it has crippled the run game. Our starting RB is not the best rusher on the team and his fumble against Miami costed us a win. The rushing attack just hasn’t been consistent. By the time they found out Bigsby was a legit weapon, the team was already in too much of a hole.
Thomas has shown he can be a #1, but for whatever reason they don’t give him enough targets.
The offensive line helped lose the Browns game.
Campbell and Oluokun puts an already weak schemed-defense behind the 8 ball. Cisco and Johnson can’t play man defense. Scherff don’t care. Harrison forgets to block. Kirk hasn’t been catching like he should. Strange has a drop. Davis has been a failure with drops. Arik Armstead is a backup. Trevor throws bad interceptions at the worst times and bailes out the pocket too quick bc they blitz and the backs can’t pick up the blitz. We lost an all pro special teamer.
It was a wreck from the first play of the season when Campbell sacked Lawrence.
Both coordinators are struggling with personnel and Doug don’t wanna be a coordinator which is what he excels at. It’s all a mess and I probably stand alone with not wanting Pederson fired. The switch to a 4-3/man to man defense just didn’t work. On offense, all the pressure on the QB ain’t working either. That oline ain’t gonna allow Bigsby or Etienne to grind out 1500+ yards so they are forced to have no flow. Walker is about to have a career season and it’ll be for nothing. Need another shutdown corner for a man to man defense to work, also need push up the middle.
It was nice for those 2 seasons when we were playing meaningful games throughout the season. We’re right back to square 1.
We lose the Pats game and we’re on the way to the #1 overall pick.

Would have to look at the 1970's Buccaneers teams more than likely or maybe the winless Lions and Browns teams.

In Matt Ryan's first NFL game, the Falcons scored 21 points in the 1st Quarter against the Lions in the 2008 regular season opener. The 4-0 pre-season became a distant memory quickly.
While Aaron Rodgers was in his 4th NFL season, in 2008, it was his first season as the Packers starting QB. Like MANY other QBs that season, Rodgers lit up the Lions Defense. In the two combined games between the teams, Rodgers had 6 TD passes and 0 interceptions.
Hey D6! Good to see you. Life must be pretty nice as Lions fan right now. What a job they have done there. Losing Hutchinson is a big blow but I have the Lions as my SB team from the NFC this year. They look like they've taken another step from last year.
As for us....yeah it's not a fun place to be right now.

Time to be dismantled by a rookie QB again!

The Lions tremendous win over the Cowboys was one of mixed emotions. Injuries are a brutal part of the great sport that football is. While it's going to be a huge challenge for the Lions to overcome the loss of Aidan Hutchinson, I do recall the Packers overcoming a number of injuries to key players to go on to win the Super Bowl in the 2010 season. The Lions being in a division with 3 other teams with at least 4 wins through Week # 6 is certainly a major obstacle. The grit and overall resolve of the Dan Campbell led Lions and the NFL Trade Deadline still being a few weeks away helps me keep my optimism.
While the Jaguars have a enormous hole to climb out of, I think back to the 2022 season. If the Jaguars beat the Patriots in London this coming Sunday and gain a split in their following 4 games, I think it's possible the Jaguars can go on a late season run.

Very confident about a jags win today. Obviously they’ve been bad but we have a lot more talent than the patriots and that will show today. I also think getting Tyson back will help the defense a lot. Hopefully it pushes Darby to the pine where he belongs. Brown has been playing much much better than him.

The board never works
Nah we're cooked. Four quarters of bologna.

Big loss incoming hopefully. It's gotta get ugly before it gets pretty. This regime has to go.

Lol doubt we are climbing out of this brother. Maybe we can make a run at Ben Johnson though? Seems like he has turned down a lot of offers lately. Really depends on who our GM is going to be I think.
I will say this , seeing the lions do so well consistently gives hope to all us fans of teams who have struggled consistently to produce a constant winner.

Darby can’t run like he should

Of course they’ll get to score on the opening drive for the first time this year
So predictable how bad we are
