The liberal media and the corporations did everything they could to take this man down. They slandered his name, they put him on trial, they trumped up minor charges, they flat out lied. Then some of the crazy liberal nutjobs tried to execute him.
Trump beat the machine and let us all get behind him to make America great again. I would think 100 years from now this will be in the history books leading up to this.. The fact that he also won the popular vote shows the majority was behind him.

North Carolina's numbers.
73% of us cast ballots: 5,667,689 out of 7,763,502
Donald J. Trump: 2,875,538 50.95%
Kamala D. Harris: 2,683,911 47.56%
The rest were for write in, Libertarian, Green Party, etc.
I'm not sure what I was expecting this time around but my gut feeling was Trump would win NC and the country overall. I didn't have that same feeling back in 2020.
I think the bottom line is Democrats who refused to vote outside of their party simply didn't vote. Harris was never a contender and the Democratic party needs a major overhaul if she's the best they could come up with. They need one anyway without the baggage and influence of the Clintons and Obamas. Get them out of the picture and shed the far left liberals and that party might have something to look forward to. They also need to find something other than abortion to hang their hats on because not many of those who voted named that issue as The One most important to them.
I'm cautiously optimistic for the future. I hope Trump doesn't get distracted and actually does his job. Stay off of social media, don't listen to the media, and just do the job. When the left comes after him he needs to have the right people to deal with it so he can do the job he was hired for. If he goes down every rabbit hole it could be a long four years.
As "icing on the cake", as the sitting Vice President commie-la gets to certify the election results on inauguration day.

In NC, Trump got about 115,000 more votes than he did in 2020. Kamala got about 1,000 fewer than Biden in 2020. In some states turnout grew and in others it shrank.
It seems some Democrats are very fickle or maybe sexist or racist against Kamala. But in NC at least the Democrats were faithful.
