Having only 3 edge players on this team should be a firing offense alone. With one being the 7th round rookie that's usually not even active

Right! His stats and the perception of him are wildly different.... He hasn't been a superstar by any means, but he has NOT been the god-awful QB some fans want to make him out to be. And Jones is proving to us, rather definitively, that Trevor is not the problem here.

No no, you have it wrong.

If Mac is indeed a starter for an NFL team - that IS a problem. The problem also is that there isn't much difference between Trevor's on-field play and offensive success compared to a perennial, noodle-armed backup in Mac Jones.

That's my issue with Trevor. QB1 touches the ball on EVERY play and exerts the most impact on a game - and yet our offense is still anemic 4 years into this experiment...

Trevor elevates trash to competitive and gets nothing but criticism for it.

Khan has to get rid of Baalke. The team has lower half of the league talent through most of the roster.

Great teams are the opposite of that, top half of the league talent all over the field.

Yes, the Jags defense gets some credit for finally taking advantage of gifts given to them by the opposing QB instead of dropping them like they have all season.

But any interpretation of this game to presume the Jags are pressuring Darnold into these throws, confusing him with their coverage, or making amazing plays on the ball for the picks is a misreading of this game.

Now this is a generational REACH almost like taking Trevor 1st overall...

/s (but only slightly lol)

You don't think that maybe the since the offense is anemic despite 2 starter level QB's, there are issues with the offense (scheme, plays, rest of the team) that no QB could overcome?
If Trevor were playing today, we would probably be good for at least another TD on the scoreboard right now.

Nice job, Jags!

Everyone on this board would have roasted Trevor for any of Darnold's interceptions.

Heck y'all would have roasted Beathard, Minshew, Jones, Henne, or Rourke for the INT's in this game by Darnold.
Doesn't look like they are going to trust Darnold to throw it in the red zone again. LOL.

Yes I do - and I have said that multiple times.

This entire team from the front office down to the lunch lady is putrid.

I gave Trevor his time to overcome deficiencies in coaching/talent/etc and he really came up short this year sadly - and it's time for me to start calling him out on those numerous occasions where he leaves you scratching your head wondering why he threw a ball into quadruple coverage.

And two INTs and a fumble.
Here comes the offense for 45 seconds before they sit again.
Offense needs to get aggressive here with the play calling and respond with a touchdown.

Getting reallllllll [BLEEP] tired with the conservative play calling.

It should have already happened. There isn't a need to wait. Let his second in command sign free agent backups if they need more due to injury.

Keep trying..... That is PART of the problem. Theres more. Lets see if you can figure it out....

It's the foundation, everything else is [BLEEP] up because of that problem.
I have no trust in thr offense to take back thr lead

But most of your criticism seems directed at the QB, not everything else.

Whose is to say changing everything else won't allow Trevor to make a Mayfield/Geno like turn for the better?

He'll be in that chair at least 2 more years.
