No, if the player can play then he plays so long as the team is not eliminated from the playoffs. After that it's a discussion, but before that the players play.

Completely agree. This season is just a dumpster fire and there's no saving it. Doug and Baalke should have gone after Detroit but there was a deafening silence from the building.

Didn't look good for Trevor but he got up and carted off.

Well, worst case is Trevor retires from that hit IF that was a Tua-like concussion. Which is what I would personally do. Not worth the brain damage that can continue IMO. 

Obviously a big IF, and we will have to see what the doctors say.
