Win/loss record aside, is this our worst team? I think that honor has to go to the first Gus year. But it’s close. Mularkey’s one year would be on the list too I guess.

Like I said Tee Higgins is a nice dream. It won't happen due to price and the other needs we have. I want us to build through the lines, the reason we did so well in 2017 was the lines. It all starts from there.

Agreed, this team would be insane to spend big money on receiver with the line problems we have.

If Khan leaves Baalke in charge I could see him doing something that stupid, though.
Liking the Jags taking out all the stars on the Texans. Make them limp into the playoffs with no chance to win.

Campbell stays hurt
All this talk about building the lines, but Little and Anton going no where. Just signed Ezra and Morse (1 year left). Cutting Scherff would be a lot of dead cap, he's staying.

I don't think help is on the way guys lol.

The Jags have the $$$ to get Tre Smith.   Not sure why you think they won't spend the $$$ to upgrade that spot.   It's just a matter of whether or not the GM wants him.

We usually have one unit that plays well and are completely let down by the other. This year both the O and D are bad and we're 12 games in and it's not get better in anyway.

With the expectations this roster had....they're definitely high on that list.

Paying him big money was crazy.
I think Qb is the number 1 need followed by offensive line

He got blindsided by a guard, he's probably concussed too.

I imagine Baalke is putting up pictures of BTJ everywhere in that building!!

See Shad, I can identify talent. Just ignore all the other picks!

Morse is on the way out but he's pretty good, Scherff is the worst run blocking guard in the League.

How we getting rid of Ezra or Scherff?

I fully agree, but how we getting rid of him? It's too much dead cap.
I keep hoping something sparks this offense and they play competently the rest of the season. It happens to other professional teams, college teams, they find themselves mid-season and remember how to play effectively. Why not the Jags? Are we really that cursed?

What are we under the cosh for with Scherff?

4 million guaranteed?   We pay him 4 million next season.  At worst he's depth for the Oline.

Ezra is fine, he's been covering for Robinson. Scherff is on a void year next season, he's leaving with a dead cap hit.

Yes. This season confirms the curse of Oyster.
10 point lead is insurmountable.

I don't know if changing one player on the offensive line really fixes it. I'm not great with this contract stuff, but cutting Scherff is 13 mil against the cap. Seems pretty high.
