I think it's down right miraculous that these games are this close with this lack of talent.

I absolutely agree. See we actually watch the games. The crew that is on the "1 possesion games" nonsense I absolutely believe just look at the box score and come on here and talk about how competitive we are.

Lloyd sucks and is quickly working his way to being a bust draft pick.

I had high hopes with him coming out of college but that was quashed pretty rapidly.
Yay we suck again

The dirty secret is Houston doesn't have much more talent than we do, they just have a true #1 receiver in Collins (maybe BTJ eventually becomes one for us, but we saw why he's not one yet on Trevor's interception) and a bit more defensive talent and discipline.

They're not contenders, just the tallest midget in the afcs.

Apparently in Week 2 he had a late hit on Caleb Williams who was running out of bounds and swung a punch at another Bears player who took offence to thr hit.

And DeMeco Ryan's says this isn't who they are.

This guy is really bad news. He didn't appear sorry at all for the hit on Trevor and it doesn't surprise me that he did that at the Bears game. Probably several more like that. He should get the biggest fine and suspension possible.

I disagree, the biggest problem on D is both saftey spots and usually the corner opposite Cambell.

We are close, one good offseason and a real coaching staff and we will be in the playoffs next year.

Dude, what more do you need to see to know that is not happening for years. A complete reset is needed. Did you not see the skill gap in the 52-6 game? You're brainwashed man, snap out of it.

I don't think help is on the way guys lol.

Little is a free agent at the end of the year.  He's only back if the front office wants him back.  I wouldn't be surprised if they let him go, move Harrison to left tackle and then acquire a new right tackle.

Scherff's contract is a void year next year.  It's doubtful he's back.  In regard to the dead cap, the Jaguars will still be $61+ million under the cap despite Scherff's dead money.  Keep in mind that "dead money" is money already paid.  There's no getting around it.  Even if you extended Scherff, it doesn't go away.  You would just be paying it later.  If you have to pay it later anyway, it's no big deal to pay it now.

Morse is likely back next year, but he's a stop gap.  The team could easily draft a center who would serve as depth next year and then take over the following year.

It's true Harrison and Cleveland are very likely back next season.

Little got resigned today brother. Morse is back next year. A minimum its 4/5 on the offensive line next year, and truly I can't see Scherff getting cut. I think they run it back.

However I do agree the entire line should be rehauled, it's just not happening soon.

What?  A complete reset is absolutely needed.  With that said, a real coaching staff and a good offseason we will be in the playoffs.  I dont trust Baalke in having a good offseason.  We will continue to lose and there will be a clean sweep on Black Monday.  I have been saying this, pay attention.

Three free agent acquisitions needed in the off season.

Starting safety, starting offensive guard, starting CB.

Glad we didn't pay Cisco.

They can do this all between free agency and the draft:

1. Cornerback: Either Travis Hunter or Will Johnson in round 1. Ideally get 1st pick (Raiders game will determine this) and trade back 2 or 3 spots for Hunter and a first next year.

2. Safety: Draft Nick Emmanwori in round 2. He looks like a stud.

3. Offensive guard: Pay Trey Smith and add a guard in round 3 (Tate Ratledge is my choice).

Obviously, there are other needs but these 3 are at the top.

Wow...

He was the one guy other than Cisco on that play that didn't have a blocker tying him up.   He and Cisco were slow to react, but I'm sure it's because the secondary has been burnt so often this year.   They looked like they were second guessing themselves.

On the other hand... all three of our linebackers were tied up by blockers and didn't blow up their man.  They were driven back until it was too late and Ventrell then made the tackle.

This defense is soft at the worst moments all the way back to last season.   If you're relying on turnovers to make a play you'll always be late.

Yup, I dont think Ratledge will be there in round 3, you will likely have to get him at 33 but thats my thoughts as well.  The good thing is we will have 2 3rd round picks and 3 4th round picks so we will have ammo to move up.  Trade up from the 3rd to get Emmanwori or Watts. Im putting Ratledge at center though instead of guard.  We need a center and RG.

I mean, we need almost every single starter replaced. We are expansion level bad. You're not coming in here with a new coaching staff and it changes dude. Perhaps you got them teal glasses on, but we that bad man.

Lemme know how many pro bowlers we got? You win with superstars, last I checked... the only one that CAN qualify in the future (not now) is BTJ.

You are cluless man. You have showed you dont keep up with the league.  We can come back to this next year.  We will be good after Black Monday when we get the stink out.

The Pro Bowl is a popularity contest.  I dont give a [BLEEP] about the Pro Bowl.  How many did we have a few years ago when we lost to the SB champs in the Divisional round?

You dont know what you are talking about.  Fans vote on who is in the Pro Bowl.  To answer you question.  Trevor Lawrence, Evan Engram, and Josh Allen are Pro Bowlers.   BTJ, Campbell, and Oluokun are Pro Bowl type players.  To early to tell with some of the younger players.
