No, You're.

It's pronounced "thermometer"
At least we beat the mayo men.

And the boo's come out from the tacks fans. I love it.

Clearly he's lost the locker room, the lazy, no good bum.

LOL.
In view of this latest win, I've decided to maintain the current staff through next season.

That game was so dog [BLEEP] and boring lolol

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA the win tastes good

Also Cisco sucks, why did he not pick that

I’m ok with winning though, [BLEEP] the tacks.

Meh, we could still get Hunter.  The Gianta nor Raiders will draft Hunter and there is still 4 games left
Well that was one of the worst NFL games you'll ever watch...

It makes you wonder if this game is stunt parody.

If someone told me this was the next stage of street theatre it would make a lot more sense.

Oof what an ugly game.

(12-08-2024, 04:31 PM)MarleyJag Wrote: [ -> ]Draft position is really meaningless at a certain point. Sure it’s more desirable to have the number 1 pick than 33 but any of the top 15 or so are really interchangeable. You could have gotten a player comparable to Walker for example nearly anywhere in the first round.
Draft position only makes fans feel a bit better about a poor season. You play to win.

You're not wrong.  And I usually am more passionate.  But I just don't care anymore.

If we get the #1 pick, there's a chance someone wants to go all in on the shiney new QB and willing to give us multiple picks.  Getting the 2nd or 3rd pick will just be the 2nd or 3rd pick.  I'm just thinking of the long term.  Because the short term is just plain ugly.

This win, if we get it, doesn't matter.  I don't care if we win this game or not.  Do you?  Will anyone feel really good about this win?

Yes I absolutely appreciate every win. Against the Titans it’s even sweeter. I don’t like how the season went but I’ll always want a dub whenever they step on the field.

Duval till we die.
Lowest scoring game of the year. Sounds about right.
Give it up for our defense.

The bend-but-don't-break defense held up.
Allen and Jones got credited with sacks

When ???

Yeah, it was nice to hear the boo birds, I guess.  I mean, whatever.  Who cares?  We still suck and now we have less of a chance to get multiple picks for the #1 overall...

I'm glad we won, I guess.  I don't know.  Non of this matters at this point anyways.  A loss would have at least given us hope for the #1 pick.  Now were just stuck in neutral picking a CB/WR Hiesman Trophy winner that will probably suck here in Jacksonville and doesn't help protect Trevor Lawrence anyways?

It just doesn't matter.  This win was meaningless.  Except for Doug, he's gonna be smug for the rest of this week.  Congrats, I guess.
A very much needed victory.

NH3...

JHA smashed Levis right before the half.

Jarrian had a great blitz from the left where he drifted around the tackle for a sack.

Who would we pick at #1 we couldn't get at #3 or #4? Giants and Raiders are both going QB so Al the other top picks still available.

This team didn't suddenly become good. This was 2 terrible teams who will be terrible next week too.

I'm just tired, bro.  It just feels empty all the time.  I should have gone for a bike ride instead of watching this game.  I'm getting no joy out of it right now.  I'm not even feeling anger anymore.  It's just all grey and bland.  I think I need a mental health break from this.

Dude, that's being a Jags fan. That's the default setting for like 90% of us here. Embrace the pain and let that hope just drift away.

Got to enjoy these small crumbs. And beating that lot is always sweet.
