After a poor first half, Mac had a good gritty second half. He bought time in the pocket and had good chemistry going on with Bjt. Mac throws a very catchable ball. Mac also had a good second half against Houston.

The problem is he is good no huddle Qb but the Jags resort to traditional huddle ball in the first half.

Good job Mac! This is his audition . Lawrence has 2 concussions in about a years time. The Jags need a plan B.

Good stuff Mac

Its not trolling, it's about being realistic. Lawrence has struggled over the last season while getting beat up in the process. I know your pea sized brain can't comprehend Lawrence is a concussion away from Retirement consideration. It's not far behind Tua. Mac Jones has a few more games to prove he deserves a contract.

I know you are the genius in your rotted brain but this is concerning

He still makes plenty of mistakes

The interceptions are a problem, and he can't seem to get on thr same page with btj for those deep shots
Mac Jones is not a starting caliber QB in the National Football League

Pretty far from it in fact
Backup QB Jones is the plan B
Lawrence is a hit away from retirement but Mac is not the answer. Expect Baalke to look for a long arm Qb with big hands, someone with a prior acl tear for bonus points.

Unforttantly Trevor already got the hit thats gonna cause him to retire. He won't be back next season, even if he is he won't be the same. he will be very very  afriad to take hits,he will possbillty  retire cause he wants to raise his kid.

Every player is a hit away from retirement every play. Quit with this overly dramatic bull squeeze, we only need one Snowie to Eeyore the message board.
Mac’s a pretty average backup QB. Those guys are a dime a dozen tbh. Although he does seem to be really well liked by his teammates so he’s got that going for him.

Good weekend for the MACs

Go Bobcats! First conference title since '68
Go backup! First win as a starter in 7 games

We won the lowest scoring game of the season against a team equally inept as we are, let's not get crazy with the kool-aid.

I did see the wind was 15 or so MPH and it started to rain, surprised we let him throw at all.

If only Belichick were here...
If Trevor retires, his statistics will be an enigma. We will never be sure which he has more of: Passing TDs or Excuses

If he retires he will be a legend for some people here, they will say he was great, generational talent etc that we didn't help him, we ruined him and that's why he never shined etc lol

That is the story of Minshew's time here. The story for Trevor.... hmm

Honestly we have bigger problems than Trev
hoping to build our draft capital and the only way that can be done is by losing our games. thought Mac could definitely get us there...

There's a lot of "could've been" rather than "was" so far, but you're not far off from reality with this take.
Mac Jones sucks, training camp arm at best
Boy, opinions are all over the map.

Mac Jones is a very good backup quarterback.

Building draft capital is nice, but drafting the right guys is 1,000 times more important.  I no longer care if we have a high draft pick or not.  What I care about is getting a good GM and a good HC and letting them sort things out.  That is 1,000 times more important than whether we have the 1st pick or the 8th pick.
