Flsprtsgod is our agent of chaos round here.

Don't need you stirring things up too!!

Well I've been called soft and S-A-W-F-T and not a real Jags fan for looking at things logically. So just trying to be a "true Jax Jags fan".

Rooting for near term emotional wins and outcomes. Who cares how it it affects future events.

Lol! Love the gif.

It's been a crazy year, especially on here. Think we may all need to go on an Aaron Rodgers darkness retreat together to heal.

And we give up the TD. Sigh.

Whining about being called S-A-W-F-T is totally S-A-W-F-T

SAWFTIE
the announcers dont understand its part of the design of this defense to allow receivers to be wide open to try and throw off the opposing offense with utter confusion
That was horrible
After that play, I'm wondering if our DC is trying to tank.  Smile  JK.

Seriously, that touchdown is a prime example why we need better coaching.  How can a player be that far open in the end zone!?!?!?!

(12-29-2024, 02:56 PM)TheDuke007 Wrote: [ -> ]That's just false.  It's illogical to believe that owning the 7th overall pick is just as good as the 3rd overall pick.  If nothing else, you can trade down from the 3rd pick to the 7th pick and acquire additional picks.  If you don't think having additional draft picks is an advantage in the NFL, I don't know what to say.  That's just common sense.

Also keep in mind that it affects next year's schedule.  If we win, instead of playing Chicago (4-12) and Cleveland (3-12), we will play Green Bay (11-4) and Cincinnati (8-8).  You don't think one pair of teams is a little tougher than the other?

If you want to get back to the playoffs as soon as possible, a loss today helps our odds.  That's just reality.

It's also illogical to believe the 3rd pick will have compensatory benefits the 7th doesn't when the final draft order and what prospect is/isn't available is not established. It's illogical to believe that playing one set of teams will be easier than playing the other set when it's nearly a year before those games will be played. Due to these factors you believe a loss today helps our odds return to the playoffs ASAP, that belief is, as a belief, assumptive and not logical. Therefore, it is not based in reality.

You ain't the Duke of [BLEEP], you ain't 007, you aint logical- you're a SAWFTIE clinging to his beliefs

Some don't mind losing, it's a losing mindset.  Some like you want to win this game and win every game.   I just don't really give a [BLEEP] at this point either way.
If having early draft picks was the key to success wouldn't we be successful by now?

Coaching don't fix dumb. We know Lloyd ain't all that bright, why they thought he should replace Foye in the middle is beyond any of us.

They expect resistance; don't resist.

The ol double bluff mind job.

60% of the time it works everytime

From what I understand, the design is to make the QB so aware of the open receiver that he holds the ball an extra couple of seconds to fully comprehend that he is indeed that open by which time the Dline will start to attempt to shed their blocks.

These are the kind of ideas Doug was talking about when he said we wouldn't understand. Truly next level coaching.
As much as I want the Giants to win, I also have the Colts defense in a tight fantasy title game. Kind of frustrating.

That's hard thinking, gets in the way of S-AW-F-T feelings and beliefs

Oluokon led the league 2 years in a row in tackles so let's make him a coverage LB

Make it make sense!!
Need some BTJ plays.

Why get paid to put in the effort of trying when one can suck and still get paid?
Can we stop making excuses for Devon Lloyd? Part of playing linebacker is instincts, and Devon was a good pass rusher in college. His general linebacker instincts are poor. Same with Muma (apparently).

Cisco is a dumb player as well. No real instincts for his position.

How do I apply for that job?

First, I disagree that half the board thinks Trevor is Just A Guy.  I think it's just a very vocal minority.  Many pro-Trevor people don't bother arguing with stupid people.  I don't even visit the Trevor thread.

Second, even if you aren't a Trevor fan, you still have to factor the salary cap impact.  Even as a June 1st cut next year, he would be a $93.5 million cap hit in 2025.  Our team can't sustain that.  He's clearly our QB for the foreseeable future.
