Quote:That's definitely something I do wanna try..
Yeah, me, too. But I've read that it has to grind to a consistent particle size. Some cheap grinders produce various size particles, which means you can get tiny particles in your coffee. At least, that's what I've read. I don't know if that's a legitimate problem, or just marketing hype by the maker of an expensive grinder.

I have no idea. I do know that you can buy the grinders from like Walmart for under $20, but I'm kinda thinking that I'm just gonna get what I pay for.
Quote:Ya'll can have your K cups and artsy crap. I''ll take my Mr.Coffee and can of Maxwell House breakfast blend and go sit in the corner
Well, if you're willing to settle for bad coffee, you're probably willing to root for a team like Jacksonville!
Me, I have higher standards.

I feel good when the tinhorns lose. I feel good today.
I'm feelin pretty good myself. I think it's cause of my bad coffee.
I go for quantity over quality.
Quote:Yes, but doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of getting a Keurig? If you have a refillable container, and use ground coffee, how is that better than my Mr. Coffee that cost me $19.95?
I guess the difference is if you like a completely fresh cup every time, or don't mind about drinking coffee that's sitting in the pot.

For a seasoned coffee drinker like myself, coffee doesn't sit in the pot very long haha
Example:
I've been up since 7:30 and I've already gone through 7 cups.

I turn off the burner when the brewing is finished. Otherwise, in about 10 minutes, you have filling station coffee.
My GFs lotion. :whistling:

Yikes! You remember the barber in High Plains Drifter? The actor who played that part said he drank about 10 cups of coffee to make his hands shake uncontrollably like they did. When you say you've had 7 cups, I have that image in my head. A guy with a straight razor about to shave Clint Eastwood, hands shaking uncontrollably.
