Quote:They sacrificed nothing? Except for campaigning?

To answer your question, you are missing something.

Unless they forced their son into the military, HE made the sacrifice. They suffered a loss, but there is definitely a difference between the two.
Quote:Absolutely, what? Say it, pirk... If you can... I don't think you you can. Prove me wrong...

I support the man who died, but his parents aren't so worthy...

You attacked the wrong guy, princess.  My wife is ethnic, and her grandfather emigrated here... legally.  I know that's tough for you to hear.  Yes, there are LEGAL and ILLEGAL means to come here.  You're simply pathetic and prove it with every worthless post.

But back from the distraction... this just gets worse by the minute.  For the left, that is...

The left has zero respect for the military and those who serve.  It's all bull [BLEEP] lip service from lesser "men."  To them, everyone is their pawn no matter what.  Replaceable.  Just numbers.

"What difference does it make"... uttered by the one they sold their blackened souls for and are committed to, no matter what good lives it costs.
Mr. Khan implied that sacrafice can only be made with ones life. People make sacrafices all the time.

"WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?!?!?!?!"

Blood on the hands of Hillary and those who press the button/pull the lever/fill the oval for her.

Every.  Single.  One.

The son likely consulted with his parents about enlisting.

Thus the family as a whole loses and sacrifices.

King of Hyperbole.

In the context of when she said that it was as far from offensive as you can get.

Any family who has lost someone in combat has sacrificed. Does it only matter if he was forced? Maybe they suggested it. Even still, I'm sure they supported it.

This shouldn't even be debated, unless its political motivation.

Step into a pair of boots. Witness or just hear of a soldier getting killed. Then tell the family, I'm sorry for your loss, but you've sacrificed nothing.

That's all I've got on the matter. No one should ever question what men, women and families sacrifice in service of this country.

No point in debating.

Zero respect for the military? Congrats on one of the most ignorant statements.Painting everyone with a broad brush. Sounds familiar. But then you must agree the statement of McCain not being a war hero shows zero respect. Yet you fly this guys banner. Unless of course you agree on McCain not being a hero. He did get caught. Thats respect?

Plenty liberals serve.  Plenty conservatives do too.

And plenty of each, don't.  If we elect Donald, he will be the first person ever elected president that was neither elected to public office nor served in the military.

This link has an obvious political agenda, but it does raise some eyebrows about those who would ask us to send our children off to war:

It also continues to remind me what an incredible human being Bush 41 is, and that neither party has a lock on military service.

You support the Muslim soldier? Than say it. Say you support him, and call out his name. It's the name of owner that you support. It shouldn't be that hard... The soldier who prays to Mecca and calls Muhammad, all praise unto him, the highest?

Do you support that man?

And the fact that you parse against his family that gave the greatest sacrifice confuses me...

Are you saying that the other families of gold star recipients who renounce and abhorr trump are not to be respected?

It's odd that you would repudiate a grieving family of a war hero.. Do you not support the families of United States veterans??

All of a sudden, the family of the troops aren't that important--- when it's a Muslim family... That's what I'm reading from these comments....
Lost in all the smoke about Hillary and Khan is the fact that a candidate for POTUS, the nominee of his party, once again let criticism get under his skin.

A more current list of the veterans of the 114th Congress.

Agree with them or not, they deserve our respect.

Shocker.

He made a couple comments about it. Not sure I'd interpret that as getting under his skin.
But is there even more to the story about Khizr Khan?  According to Theodore Shoebat and Walid Shoebat, Mr. Khizr Muazzam Khan is a promoter of Islamic sharia law and a co-founder of the Journal of Contemporary Issues in Muslim Law (sharia).  In fact, in the past, Khizr Khan has shown "his appreciation for an icon of the Muslim Brotherhood" by the name of Said Ramadan, who "wrote material for the Muslim Youth Movement of Malaysia, an organization that has been promoting Islamic revivalism and indoctrination to recruit young people in Malaysia to jihadism."  Mr. Said Ramadan was the son-in-law of Hassan al-Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood including Ahmad Bahefzallah, the boss of Huma Abedin (Hillary Clinton's aide)[.]"

From the American thinker...  life holds no surprises

He's become so thin skinned I noticed the blood running through his veins ( and who knows where else) all rushing to his head, turning orange into what looks like an over ripe tomato ready to explode.
Quote:Shocker.

Not a shocker... During Memorial Day, families of the fallen are honored as well as the soldiers that gave the greatest sacrifice.

What shocks me is that the moment the family is Muslim, then they are no longer worthy of our respect. That indeed is a shock.

I'm sorry you feel the way you do about this... I would have thought that you would pay respect for every family that has lost a son or daughter that gave the greatest sacrifice for this country. The USA... No matter their religion.

And after all that, his ankles are still thin.
