Quote:If you ever had a job where you had to pay taxes, you'd know that a person's total wealth is not an item on the tax returns. They would show nothing as to how rich he actually is.

I really don't believe you aren't getting this and that you are actually trolling here.

The man, all he does is tell everyone what a success he is, despite trump U, bankruptcies, failed business after failed business, taking people's money without anything in return, fraudulent practices......

If he is exposed as something less than the success he claims, he goes down in the eyes of those who celebrate him as some business genius, that they feel, incorrectly, that this is what the country needs.

I know you get this, and are trolling and falling in line for the fun of it.
Quote:How's that sand taste while you choke on his job creating and charity work...

Compared to Clinton leaving the White House "broke," having to give back all the items she stole from the White House (just a mistake, like the server, amirite?,) and all the millions they've bilked with the "foundation."

Sand? Really.

He's a regular Mother Teresa. Except the words "loser" and "disgusting pig" didn't leave her mouth so often. All the lives touched by this great man.. charities to him are a tax right off.. and I cannot handle all the job creation drum beating. He creates jobs for China, Mexico, Bangladesh, etc. Meanwhile there's a list a mile long of people who were working for him that he ripped off. Most recently [BLEEP] cheerleading girls.
6 of his hotels are in this country....

Quote:Where's the proof that it's an "absolute given"?

Because the man is a scam artist and a compulsive liar.

Believe me. I promise you. I guarantee it.
if lying is your gripe, voting for Hillary makes no sense:

I'm no Hillary fan. And I know she's full of it too. But Trump lacks the basic knowledge of how Government works and the basic knowledge of world affairs needed for the job. If you disagree, you are drinking the orange Kool-Aid. The man is inept. The audio for the Washington Post interview was tragic.
Trump just doesn't want you to know he is not as rich as he claims.

Guess he hasn't killed enough Americans for your liking, like Hillary.

Typical.  Head back in the sand.

So what exactly does his tax return say about anything?  A tax form simply lists income, expenses and deductions.  It doesn't list assets and/or available capital.

I know liberals like you want to claim that he "pays a lower tax rate than his secretary" or something like that.  The thing is, most low information voters don't know the difference between income tax and capital gains tax.  I would guess that his income was probably taxed at the maximum rate and his capital gains were taxed appropriately.  So what is his income?  What if he paid himself $1000.00 per month or $12,000 per year?  His income tax would effectively be 0 after deductions.

If he sold stock that he made gains on, then he would be taxed at the current rate for capital gains which is lower than the income tax rate.

Again, to use your hero crooked hillary;s quote, what difference does it make?
Quote:Trump just doesn't want you to know he is not as rich as he claims.

I think hard working tax payers would also be disgusted by how much tax he pays via iffy tax avoidance structures.

I am a hard working tax payer and I am disgusted by how much tax I pay. We simply pay too much in taxes.
Quote:Trump just doesn't want you to know he is not as rich as he claims.

Do you really think that a tax return is going to reveal that?

So what are the "iffy avoidance structures" that you speak of?

Right. She killed them.

Amazing and just sad that you can say that.

Get a grip.

Hitler didn't gas the Jews.

Get a grip.

Many different companies. Many holdings overseas all carefully set up to minimise tax. Complex transactions between several companies.

Hey, he's not the only one. But it sure will be embarrassing seeing his taxable income up against his claims.

Are you implying Donald Trump did something illegal on his taxes or are you waiting to pounce on him for using any available loopholes legally?

I think it will show his earnings

Note the word avoidance not evasion.

it's what the establishment can do but the likes of me and you can't.

Ok, so legal then. Got it.

This ongoing attempt at attempting to align me with liberals is false, and shallowness to the Nth.

The thing is, he's a phony full-of-hot air, insulting, oblivious fool.

On a daily basis.

Day after day of embarrassment, in which you can expect it to continue and embarrass us in ways we can't yet fathom.

In every way, he's a terrible example of a president. He optimizes what people think of when the term "ugly American" arises.

On top of that, he's an outsider in a worse way then Jimmy Carter.

He hasn't shown any idea yet even in an attempt at unity.

As far as "my hero" goes, that simply is false. But I can tell you her early career is impressive, and honorable, and is more respectful than anything Trump has done.
