Quote:To be fair, he did just hand Malik $90 million and signed a pro bowl safety (our biggest need) to a big money deal. And then there was last year when he signed Julius to a huge contract. Caldwell's problem is not lack of aggression, in fact Caldwell has done a good job as GM. When is the last time the roster has had this much talent?

The main thing holding this team back is the dopey head coach. Time to bring in a coach who actually cares about winning. The next step is to establish a winning culture, and that doesn't happen when your coach subscribes to loser talk like "at least we got better, winning doesn't matter."
do you ever get tired of posting this lol its borderline copypasta at this point

Hahahaha post of the year.
Quote:Malik Jackson is 26 and plays (and dominates) at a position that impacts the game more than a CB.

If a CB doesn't impact the game all that much then you'd never see one drafted first overall.

Uh... wait a sec...

nevermind

I still think we're whiffing away a chance to improve by not contacting his agent, but at the same time I do wonder about Norman's intent to get paid top dollar over sticking around for another shot at a ring.

Quote:Jags makeing huge mistake by not going after Norman. If they wereto sign him the team would become an intest playoff contender. He was a big reason panthers went to super bowl last year. not signing him only gurantees the jags another loseing season of 4-12. Normon could help the jags out big time.

Wow now... not signing Norman by no means guarantees another losing season, but sure he'd help improve this team considerably and is no doubt a huge reason why the Panthers made the SB. Without Norman I'm not so sure the Panthers are still a SB favorite this year.

Lol I'd consider the source of that one...

I know the content of my posts is lacking sometimes but that doesn't matter. I'm competing hard over here and I think my posts are getting better everyday man!

As CB Josh Norman is with Redskins, Saints are making strong push to sign him, per sources. Decision down to Redskins and Saints.

with what money how is this even possible
I understand Dave not wanting to pay him that much. He is asking for more than Revis and Patrick Peterson. He is not in that same league.

From on @NFLTotalAccess: Last night, Josh Norman narrowed his focus to #Redskins & #Saints. Sean Payton called him personally. In talks now

some one said how earlier 1st year give him a mill in salary an 15 mill in garentees then shift it later on in the contract its what the Steelers have been doin with their crazy cap situation
Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 14m14 minutes ago

To sign Josh Norman, Saints would have to get creative with contract, as only Chiefs have less cap space than NO, which has $3.44M cap room.

They'd basically be screwing themselves over. They'd need to push all the guaranteed money towards the back of the contract, which is the reason why their cap situation sucks now.

Quote: We're AT BEST a 4-12 team without Norman.
We were 5-11 last year without him and without the additions we've made in March. Could have been 6-10 or 7-9 if it wasn't some missed points from Myers.

Quote:this is a bad gimmick

At least I'm not an NFL head coach that uses this terrible gimmick lol

Josh Norman's updated expected price tag (from WAS or NO): $15m per year and a good shot to be north of that. Saints in it for sure.
