I dont think we can know really until we see how this new roster responds to the new coach. I think the D is fine, if they can shore up the Oline to give a decent run game and Bortles gets his mechanics right then they win enough to compete for the division.

Hey, as long as we're gonna shoot for the moon here, I wanna hear how many players away we are from winning TWO Superbowls.

We ARE one player away from a championship.


 

However Tom Brady is not available.

We are a team away. Still a lot of youth on this roster. We've recently infused it with some veteran presences but we still have a lot of work to do. That's not to say a young team can't get it done. But it all depends on the play of the quarterback naturally.

 

And right now we don't know what's going to happen with Bortles. You could have the best looking spots car or performance car on the street. But it means nothing if the driver can't properly handle it and take care of it. And that's essentially where we are at as of 2017.

I'm hopeful based on the performance once Marrone took over. Culture is a powerful force for good or ill.

I feel Blake needs serious competition for the starting job. I don't feel Allen or a low round pick will provide that, which is why I would like Mahomes in the 2nd if available.


Currently Blake is being handed the starting role and I don't think that's such a good thing. He needs to earn it imo.

People are so confused because we finally have more than one proven, good player on our team now.

Did the Jaguars transfer to the Arena League? If so, then yes, we are one player away.

Honestly we have no great qb no great rb and no great TE. And no dominent young passrusher.


So we are 4 players away. But three can have a real shot.
