19. Buffalo (8-8): Myles Jack, LB, UCLA

Jack's a wildcard. I know his knee is a major concern for some teams, while others say it doesn't bother them as much. He'd be the perfect fit in Rex and Rob Ryan's defense, and I can imagine them doing flips if he slipped this far. Again, Jack could go top-five or second round. Seriously.

You guys gotta post links or something lol. Driving me nuts.

Many of reporters on different mediums have been talking about it in the last two days;

Just listened to the Dan Patrick Show interview with Myles Jack and read the article on Jack's status from Yahoo Sports. Jack is now playing full tilt pick up basketball, and indicates he has no worry about the knee (and no swelling). He says the knee is fine. Sure, he could be telling a lie to get picked higher in the draft, but the playing basketball games tells me he's likely telling the truth.

Pretty much guarantees that it won't happen

Dude -- Alfie watches NFL Network and googles draft scenarios and writes a generic story. He has as much insight as you and I.

Haha exactly, I love the "our very own Alfie" line, written like a true BCC groupy.

He's probably invested heavily in cargo shorts and flat bill caps

There's nothing to wrong with objective writing for a blog like BCC, the problem is it's clearly gotten to the head of Alfie. I can't of a more obnoxious blogger in the industry, pretending to be an "insider" what a joke.

Someone on this board told a great story of Alfie telling his minions that his sources told him the Jaguars were taking Watkins as the Jaguars were on the clock, and right before they took Bortles.

Haha yea I remember that, vividly. He posted it to twitter, he had "inside information". His groupy's follow him like the he's the 2nd coming of Christ, asking him questions about the Jags draft/free agency plans as if he has more information than they do. Lol, it's pathetic

"I suspect that all of the doomsday regarding his knee is a smokescreen. Sources have suggested Dallas and San Francisco as two clubs which may be fanning the flames of Jack's injury in the hopes that he could be available to them, even if they trade out of their current No. 4 and No. 7 overall selections."

this is what I expected all along
I'm going to be sweating that #4 pick. I don't think anyone trades up to that #3 spot and I highly doubt SD takes Jack. But Dallas definitely could take him. I doubt someone will trade up for a LB but Cowboys could justify it with Jack being the best player there and Sean Lee's injuries.

I think if Dallas didn't have so many issues with the D-line, that Jack would be a major play. However, I think they will either go Buckner/Bosa or Elliot. That's what I'm feeling right now. But, they definitely could go Jack.

GO JAGS!!

"Mike Mayock says Myles Jack's knee issues are major issue & may require more surgery. "I'll be very surprised if he goes in the top 10.""

Seen that. Mayocks words carry a lot of weight. Too big to be a smokescreen surely.
Who is Mayock's source? He could be pulling this out of his behind. It's not like he's someone that typically breaks a bunch of big stories either.
