Simply name the Jaguars you want off of the current roster.

I will take:

Anger (fails too many times to pin the team deep.  Also out kicks coverage)

Branch (useless)

Clemons(should probably retire)

Wisniewski: (singed a one year prove it deal and was very average. Can find an upgrade)

D. RobinsonSadHe can't be trusted to hold onto the football)

Cyprien (please tell me one thing he does well)

Gratz(Abused all year)

Chris Smith (He had his chance and was terrible. I would not even call him a good backup)

Mercedes Lewis: (We have seen enough alreadly.  The guy is as mediocre as they come.  His blocking was eh this year)

Zane Bealdes (Just bad)

Jason Myers (It's like playing russian roulette every time he kicks the ball)

Beadles and Gerhart for sure. They're both huge wastes of cash. Clemons, but that's more because he looks done than anything else. Gratz and Sergio Brown are affordable, but they're both just bad.

Aside from those five, there's really not anyone I'm waiting on baited breath for the release of. There are positions that can be upgraded, but only the five guys above fall into the "how in the world is he still on the team?" category.

Branch

Clemons

Beadles

Gratz

Lewis

Gerhart

Are pretty much the main ones I'm done with

Andre Branch.
Old man Clem, Branch, slowby and beadles first.

Anger was one of the best punters in the league last year letting him walk would be ridiculous. Cyprien I would keep for the right money he was a lot better last year. Agree with everyone else though
Bradley.

Best punter in the league? Not even close.
Gerhart ...too slow

D Robinson ...hands and ball security issues persist

Pierce ...replaceable

Lewis ...aging and lacks impact

Young ...a stiff turnstile

Beadles ...Cann and Linder are better, too much money

Wisniewski ...upgradeable

Gratz ...gets beat repeatedly

Clemons ...ineffective

Branch ...ineffective

C Smith ...ineffective

Bartu, Armbrister, Pullard, Porter ...worthy arena league backups

Meyers ...consistently inconsistent

Brown and Evans ...not up to the needs of the FS position

Hanging out with Justin Blackmon will get you nothing good, just so you know.
Looking at all these players shows how bad our depth is. Good news I guess is we have the best cap situation and it'll only getting better getting rid of some of these guys.

The only position with great depth is WR. Everywhere else on the team needs work.
Toby Gerhart's gotta go.   I'm sure a few more need to go too to make room for new players, but Gerhart's the one I really don't want to see here next year.

I didnt say the best punter. Please reread.

26  Punts inside the 20, only 4 TB's.

46.3 AVG Places him in the top 10.  Our biggest problem is our gunners getting to his punts.

You dont cut a top 10 punter. Otherwise you find yourself with someone like Matt Turk
If we had picked up Anger off the street, nobody would be talking about getting rid of him.  He is an above average punter but he isnt 3rd round good.

Jason Myers wasnt actually a bad FG kicker.  His FG% was pretty good.  But he was a horrible extra point kicker which isnt arguably the easiest kick out there... which to me means it's more a head thing.  Not sure how easy that'll be to fix.

I read when we put him on injured reserve he played his last down for the Jaguars. Hoping that is true.

On defense, the most obvious one is Gratz.

Well cutting or releasing some of these guys isn't how you build depth. Guys like Beadles and Toby need to be shown the door based on cost but cutting guys like Cyp and Evans, guys that are still on their rookie contracts, guys that have starting experience, would be great to keep around for depth.

Anger - probably gone

Branch  - gone

Clemons -gone

Wisniewski:  May be offered a cut rate deal - but they'll try to upgrade at C for sure - probably walking sooner than later

D. Robinson: He'll get camp to try to prove his hands aren't terrible - may not survive late cuts w/o a big preseason
performance

Cyprien - Not going anywhere until next year at the earliest

Gratz - probably an early camp cut

Chris Smith: Young. He'll be in camp but may not survive cuts in August.

Marcedes Lewis: - in negotiation for a cheap deal already (according to rumor)

Zane Beadles - under contract and decent depth

Jason Myers - he'll be in camp with competition
My thoughts on what they do with your list.

Abry Jones and Ryan Davis are free agents I'd want to try to keep around for depth and will probably stay for reasonable money.

Clay Harbor may be offered something too.  Gus has mentioned him helping to fill the FB void in an interview since the season ended - so imagine they'd like to keep him around.

Why not draft a fullback? Clay Harbor has been serviceable as a tight end.
