Quote:Sorry if I missed this, but what is the opinion on the safety from Clemson, Jayron Kearse?

I haven't watched anything on him yet, but I do know that he is 6'5 220lb.

I've watched a few of his games.

He's a pretty good safety ,sound tackling technique and generally takes good angles to the ball carrier ,comes up with a massive hit every now and again.

Hes solid in coverage and can compete for jump balls with any receiver.

His agility is what lets him down and makes him tough to draft, his movement in small spaces is extremely awkward and ungainly, manages to cover up in college because of his athleticism. Not sure if it can be fixed.Watch the Bama-Clemson game and see what I mean. Partly at fault for a few big scores.
In order pre combine:

1- Joey Bosa

2- Jalen Ramsey

3- Myles Jack

Ramsey

Jack has a chance to be special.
So far just Myles Jack, still early in the research for me not a big fan of Ramsey yet, i'm going to watch more on him since he seems pretty well loved around here I'm just not seeing it yet.

Jack covers like a corner, seals the edge, pursuit was great, his RB stiff arm tells me he has some strong hands.  Most importantly he looks like he fully diagnoses the play before the QB pulls the trigger.

So spot on!

I have the same feeling about Ramsey. Most people say they want him, but don't have great reasoning to it. His tape is so eh to me.

If NFL draft analysts did not rank Jalen Ramsey in the top 5 (Bucky Brooks named him #1 on his board), I would assume most of the love he gets here is coming from FSU fans who watch him with crimson and gold glasses. As it is, Ramsey has been mocked to the Jaguars and named a top 5 talent by multiple football experts. I want to see if people who don't care about the Seminoles fans either way agree with FSU fans on how good Ramsey is.

To be honest, I just ranked him 3rd because I haven't had much of a chance to watch tape yet

If I don't have much experience watching a player, I don't rank him.

A lot of people are doing that because of the mocks and rankings. Check out the tape when you can and let me know what you see!
I wouldn't mind taking a flier on Pharoh Cooper. Can never have enough playmakers and the guy is a playmaker for sure. Would be a nice insurance for Lee who can't stay on the field.

How about let's worry about upgrading the offensive line? We could actually use a new starter on it.
Quote:SHawn Oakman - what happened to his early season hype? I kept hearing about this guy and possibly being a top 10'er, but now he's projected much later. Also, I believe he'd be more on the left side, non leo, correct?
I was wondering this myself, so i decided to watch film on him.

Forget which game I watched, but he did terribly. To me, he's clearly nothing but a workout warrior, as I saw him get handled by average collegiate OLineman.

Margus Hunt comes to mind.

Where would we use Jack.....we have Telvin. Jack is not going to happen

MLB. Dude is a player you scheme ur defense for, not find a place for.

Yeah MLB or OTTO or Telvins spot in case of injury. He could play all of those positions I'm not concerned about his height.

No more WR's unless its the 6th or 7th rounds, we have insurance for Lee, with Greene, and Walters
I have wanted Jack on the Jags since he was a true freshman.

He is special.

Is this a real question?

Poz is terrible dude. Jack and Smith create are very real LB duo. Could turn into Kuechley and Davis or Willis and Bowman.
I would like to see Jack used at Otto or taking poz's reps in the nickel package eventually taking poz's role entirely
