Ivory was hurt for a good bit of the year, and showed glimpses when healthy.
I wouldn't be upset if they let go of Ivory. He showed no signs of quickness or generating any sort of push. He was supposed to be a good receiver out of the backfield and that has looked average at best.

With our o-line of last year, I am surprised they survived uninjured for as long as they did.
Quote:Yeldon is awful. He might be the slowest running back in the NFL.
Ivory had a few glimpses last year where he looked like a starter quality running back in the NFL. Yeldon had zero of those.
Zero "glimpses" for Yeldon? I don't get how you can say that. I'm often seeing him squeeze out yards where those no real blocking to speak of. There were certainly at least glimpses where Yeldon looked pretty good.
Again, last year we had probably the worst scheme for running the ball in the NFL. This is year three for Yeldon, and with an improved scheme and some real blocking up front, I'm anxious to see just what he'll do this year. It would be a mistake to part ways with him so soon.

Did he get 1 and a half yards instead of one?
He had 130 carries last year, and his longest run was 16 yards.
Yeldon would have had 1,000 yards rushing his rookie year running behind guys like Beadles, Joeckel and Wiz if he hadn't of gotten injured. Don't think he's dynamic enough to be a starter but think he can still be an effective running back.
Maybe we brought in Murray to almost send a message to Yeldon and Ivory to WAKE UP!
Half my face is drooping after reading this.
Latavious Murray is visiting with the Vikings this week.
But I thought the deal was done? Where you @ spacecoastjag

Are you sure it's the same Latavius Murray, are you sure it's not the other one?
Quote:My sources say this is a done deal.
Syracuse and BC wanted Latavius to play LB and ONLY UCF gave him that chance at RB just like ONLY UCF gave Blake a chance at QB when other schools wanted him as a TE.
<span style="color:rgb(44,44,44);">Latavius has big ties with Doug Marrone and of course Marrone and GOL have ties.
He chose UCF -- because Syracuse, like many other programs that recruited Latavius -- wanted him to play linebacker. SU coaches at the time did not envision him at 6-foot-3 as a viable college football running back, but liked his athleticism enough to offer him a scholarship. After Latavius tore his ACL in 2009, he asked for his release from UCF to come home to play for Syracuse. But SU coaches did not offer him a scholarship then and he returned to UCF. (Doug Marrone was SU's head coach then; he and UCF coach George O'Leary had long been friends and colleagues.)
Latavius initially chose a program that guaranteed he would run the ball. He wanted to be a college running back. I know all of this because my friend wrote a multi-part series about Latavius and his high school recruitment at the time.

igh school, Murray was All-league and All-Central New York selection in three straight seasons. In his sophomore year, he was third-team All-state honoree following a 1,609-yard, 14-touchdown season. He garnered first-team All-state honors as a junior, rushing for 2,030 yards and 30
touchdowns. In his final year, he was named the 2007
Gatorade Football Player of the Year in the state of New York after rushing for 2,194 yards with 28 touchdowns on offense, while also recording 78 tackles, three forced fumbles and two i
nterceptions on defense.
He also was named as the Class D Player of the Year
and First-Team All-State by the NYSSWA.
There are a lot of people on this board like YoBoy and GlockBortles among others that have ZERO sources. They can mock all they want. They are wrong about judging talent.
Lol looks like your source was wrong... I find everything you plagiarized entertaining.. You a funny dude to me!

The poster in question has serious issues with the truth. Not to be taken seriously.
To put it plainly: he's so full of [BLEEP] it's coming out his ears.

It's "you're" but I wouldn't expect someone named "Yo Boy" to have an IQ over 52.
Tay and Jags are still in talks but Vikings and Giants are also involved. I don't think the Jags offered enough $ but we shall see.
BTW, George O'Leary is now a mentor to the Jags compliments Coughlin/Marrone.
I think we can all overlook Yo Boy's grammar mistake and look at the guy who constantly lies on this message board.
Fyi, your sources have been consistently wrong since you've been here. You saying you are on that Knights message board clearly shows your bias towards Bortles and explains much of your irrational behavior.
Quote:Are you sure it's the same Latavius Murray, are you sure it's not the other one?
ohhh yeah....forgot about that other guy...
"Tay"....the fact you think you know him is hilarious knowing now that you stole all this information from another message board. Tay was a lock to come to the Jaguars when you first posted and now you're not sure about it because we didn't offer enough money.
You are hilarious.
Wow!! I read the jags message board...I'm an insider with a "source"!!

I follow people on twitter, therefor I have MULTIPLE sources that know about the NFL's inside moves.
If you followed me, you'd have a source that confirms John Oehser is a curse.
